Notes for 2017/18 Calendar*YR10 exams will be scheduled around remaining GCSE exams from 11/06/18Where activity days, induction days and sports days have been preserved they will require timetable changes to accommodate them. Teachers may therefore not be teaching their normal groups.Open Evening /Induction Evening /Options Evening– Each teacher is to be involved in the Open Evening unless they will be a tutor at the Induction Evening in which case the Induction Evening has priority. Options evening is to be agreed within Departments. (It is acknowledged and appreciated that some staff do not like to miss the Open or Options Evening.) There will be 4 full report weeks for yr9-11 and 3 for yr7 and 8 – including tracking and attitudinal reports. Tracking and report schedules will accomodate mock exams/test weeks as appropriate.Part time staff work a pro rata allocation of 1265 hours per academic year.Both Curriculum Awards and Presentation Evening will be directed time.XMAT PD x 3 plus WS PD x 2 plus XMAT Professional Pathways x 1 = 1 day.XMAT Collaborative Meeting x 6 = 1 day.Morning briefing sessions are part of directed time.
