    thinks anymore.Jeremy Lin

I'm thinking about how can I trust

God more. How can I surrender more?

How can I bring him more glory?

Witness - a person who has seen or can

    give first-hand evidence of

    some event

Athlete - a person trained to compete in

    sports or exercises involving

    physical strength, speed, or

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off

everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run witherseverance the race marked out for us.

    WHAT KEEPS US BACK

    Burden

    everything that hinders

    Weakness

the sin that so easily entangles

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off

everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run witherseverance the race marked out for us.

    WHY EXPERIENCE THESE

    To depend on Jesus Christ

To become most victorious, most dependent

    in the Spirit of God

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off

everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run witherseverance the race marked out for us.

WHAT THE RACE IS ALL ABOUT

Its not ever easy to take the race (to live a

    Christian life).

The race teaches us about PATIENCE.

    To stay in lead

To actively get under that lead

    To carry that burden

The race teaches us to come to Him with

    resounding joy.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off

everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run witherseverance the race marked out for us.

    STAY ON FOCUS

Do not think of what others think. (Eph 6:7)

    Pray for dependence.

Go for the mark of high quality on God

author and prefecter of THE faith.

The quality of our life in eternity depends

on the quality of life, dependence andservice here on earth.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set

before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand ofthe throne of God.

    AIM FOR PERFECTION

Jesus Christ sets Himself as an example for

man, and so are we. (Romans 8:29-30)

    Walk in His footprints.

    Emulate or Imitate His life.

After all His sufferings, he achieved perfection

and has become our Savior, the King of kings,

    Lord of lords.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set

before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand ofthe throne of God.

    KEEP GOING

    Do not grow weary.

Do not lose heart. (Hebrews 12:5b, John 16:33b)

Consider all the sufferings Jesus Christ endured. Dont try so hard. We are being disciplined.

Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not growweary and lose heart.

"It's a fight. But it's one I'm going to keep fighting.

    - Jeremy Lin

KEYS TO FINISHING THE RACE WELL

    1. The race is the will of God for every life.

    2. If you are a child of God, you will not gothrough anything that God is not going

through it with you. (Psalm 23:4, Joshua 1:5)3. He is just that much closer to coming back

    and getting you for Himself.

    4. There is a purpose in the life of a believer.(Romans 8:28)

    5. If you could not stand it, God would not sendit. (1 Corinthian 10:13b)
