High Tech Features
TheSAAFCassetteMediumDutyisconstructedfromHighImpactPolystyrene (HIPS)andcomesprefilledwithSAAFchemicalmedia.Hightechnology designtoolswereemployedtovalidatethedesignandconfirmbetter performance.ComputationalFluidDynamics(CFD)modelingandperformancetestsconfirmoptimaldesign.Theresultingdesignandconstructionsurpassesanycompetitor’scassettesinthemarket,whileallowingusersatrulybetterdesignwithvalue-enhancingfeatures.Thedesignretrofitseasilyandperformsbetterthanolderlegacycassettesinexistinginstallations.
Efficiency and Performance
Mostlegacycassettemanufacturersstatethattheircassettesoperateat>90%removalefficiencies.Inreality,theseefficienciesarenotcassetteefficiencies.Inaninstallation,removalefficiencyisdependentontheprecisesealingofthechemicalmediadeliverymechanism,i.e.,thecassettewiththecassetteholdingmechanism.Duetoloosermanufacturingtolerances,testingofmostlegacy cassettesshowsremovalefficienciesaslowas65%.

SAAF-V – Patentedenhancedmediautilizationdesign eliminatesthe“nosecavity”typicallycreatedbylegacy cassettes.Nosecavities“cocoon”upto30%ofthechemicalmedia,keepingitisolatedfromairflowcontactatalltimes duringthelifeofthecassette.SAAFCassettesaretheonly cassettesthatutilize92%ofallchemicalmediainthe cassette–outperforminglegacycassettesby25%.
SAAF-T-Snap – Patenteddesignprovidesahighpressure, no-gluesnapassembly.Thisrigidconstructionexcludes harmfulglues,solvents,orMethylEthylKetone(MEK)from themanufacturingprocess.TheSAAF-T-Snapdesign,unlike legacycassettes,hasnosee-throughholesinthesolidendplates.Thisallowsforbetterstructuralintegrityandeliminatesgasby-passproblems.TheentireSAAFChemicalMediain thecassettecanbeusedspecificallytoovercomeexternal gaseouscontaminants,notcontaminantsfromthecassetteitself.SAAFCassettesaretheidealchoiceinhigh-precisionapplicationswherezerooff-gassingproductsaremandatory.
