“THE WORLDS’ GREATEST ROLLING STONES TRIBUTE BAND” - axs tv

Experiencing The Ultimate Stones is like time traveling back to the ‘60s and ‘70s, when five British bad boys marshaled the ambition, grit, and attitude to change the music world. These guys kill it, man, so duck and cover and have your mind blown by “The World’s Greatest Rolling Stones Tribute Band. ‘Nuff said!”

— Michael Molenda, Editor-in-Chief, Guitar Player Magazine

Known for their unprecedented performance, production standards and sonic realism, The Ultimate Stones were selected by Mark Cuban and Ryan Seacrest to showcase their hit AXS TV show, The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.

“Mick Jagger” - Jim BeckerJim has an uncanny ability to emulate Mick Jagger. With an energetic stage presence and stellar vocal abilities, Jim will make you believe that Mick has entered the building. He is a premier vocalist, performer, guitarist and songwriter. Like the Stones, he is steeped in the Blues, Country, R&B, and of course Rock ’n Roll. Jim has deep respect for the award-winning music and artists he has worked with, including Thelma Houston, Rita Coolidge, Yvonne Elliman, David Pack, Jim Brick-man, David Cassidy, Scott Dugdale, David Grow, Brian Fullen, Marc Danzeisen, Kenny Williams, and many others.Photos courtesy Diane Lynn

“Keith Richards” - Rich HarcholGuitarist Rick Harchol is a songwriter, producer, arranger and recording engineer. He was signed to Alco/Atlantic and Vineyard Records. His ability to channel Keith Richards’ signature guitar tones and grooving rhythms are astounding! Rick was previously a member of Outlaw Blood, whose self-titled album was released on MCA. Rick co-wrote 5 songs on the album. His songs have also appeared on HBO, Discovery Channel, MTV, CMT, A&E, Oprah and more. Rick currently has 12 songs on a City of Peace record “The Morph Kings” as well as 7 songs appearing in the September 5th, 2014 movie “The Identical” starring Ray Liotta, Ashley Judd, Seth Green and Blake Rayne.

“Charlie Watts” - Rich MuhrNew Jersey native, Rich Muhr started playing drums

in his high school marching band. Transitioning to

rock ‘n roll, bands like Rush and Led Zeppelin were an

influence. But, it was jazz and R&B that most impacted

his playing style, in the same way it did for Charlie

Watts. Rich can reproduce the idiosyncrasies of

Charlie’s distinct feel. Rich has been integral in some

of San Diego’s more well-known bands and has been

nominated for San Diego Music Awards. Most recently,

he played alongside and opened for Jason Mraz,

Chris Isaac, Spin Doctors, WAR, Joss Stone, Tommy

Castro and Ozomatli. Rich adds the solid time and

signature groove that is paramount to recreating the

Stones’ vibe and swagger! Photos courtesy Shawna Sarnowski

“Bill Wyman” - Bernard YantzBernard Yantz discovered guitar at the age 12.

He switched to bass in his first band, because it

already had two guitarists. Learning double bass as

a teen, and studying with the principal bassist for the

San Diego Symphony, Bernard ascended to second

chair for the San Diego Youth Symphony at the age of

seventeen. Gaining experience in both rock & jazz,

he performed with popular Elvis impersonator Bobby

King, and with Marty Harrell, former trombonist for

Elvis and Frank Sinatra. Bernard’s quiet demeanor and

stage presence, along with his striking resemblance

make him the perfect Bill Wyman!Photos courtesy Shawna Sarnowski

“Ronnie Wood” - Terry MyersFrom his Detroit roots to Hollywood and beyond,

Terry Myers is a well-known and respected rock

guitarist. He is also a luthier/tech whose instruments

appear on many recordings. He has played casually

and professionally, in his studio and on stage, with

a plethora of household names like Gary Puckett,

Humble Pie, members of Kid Rock, and guitar heroes

such as Joey Tafolla. The list is long and varied. Terry’s

portrayal of Ron Wood completes the core group for

the Ultimate Stones.

“Bobby Keys” - Bobby CampbellBob Campbell nails all the sax riffs played on

the original Stones recordings. He has performed

with Art Neville, Ike Turner, The Temptations,

Four Tops, Latin jazz innovator Jack Costanzo

& blues legend Little Milton. His note-for-note

masterful work on signature solos such as

“Brown Sugar” and the hypnotic passages of

“Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” captivate

audiences everywhere.

“Chuck Leavell” - Albert MargolisAlbert started playing music at age 5. By nine he

was writing songs on guitar and piano, and formed

the first of many bands: the “Roaring Lions”. Albert has

a Bachelor of Science in Music Theory & Composition

and an MBA. Among the artists he’s worked with:

Peter Gabriel, Ivan Neville (Rolling Stones/Neville Bros.),

Daniel Lanios (U2), Cyril Neville (Neville Bros), Randy

Bachman (BTO/Guess Who), Leo Nocentelli & Zigaboo

Modeleste (The Meters), Bernie Worrell (Parliament

Funkadelic), George Duke (Frank Zappa), Johnny Vatos

& John Avila (Oingo Boingo), Doug Wimbish & Will

Calhoun (Living Colour), Stanton Moore (Galactic),

Richard Street (The Temptations), Oteil Burbridge

(The Allman Brothers) and others. Albert shares

his rock and roll keyboard techniques on numerous

instructional DVDs. And, Albert channels Nicky Hopkins,

Ian Stewart, and Chuck for the Ultimate Stones! Photos courtesy Diane Lynn

“Lisa Fischer” & “Mary Clayton”Julz Harris Julz has toured the world with the legendary group

“The Platters” for the past eleven years. She has

recorded with many musical giants, including the

great George Clinton (Funkadelic), Jon Anderson (Yes),

and most recently, Natalie Cole and Ruben Studdard.

She has also been the lead vocalist for other groups:

“Brand New World”, Warner Brothers recording act

“Slapbak”, and her own group, “Sweet Polly Esther

and the Platforms.” Julz brings a vocal power and

presence that elevates the Ultimate Stones’ sound to

theatrical levels! Her musical camaraderie with Jim

(Mick) deliver a level of entertainment not experienced

with any other band paying homage to The Rolling

Stones! You won’t believe it!Photo left courtesy Diane LynnPhoto above courtesy Shawna Sarnowski
