A Royal Academician, in 2011 EileenCooper became the first femaleKeeper of the Royal Academy of Artin its 250 year history. A painter andprintmaker, recently she has focusedon the medium of linocut andwoodcut, and this exhibitionincludes printmaking from the pastfew years as well as recent work inbronze. Cooper’s art has often beendescribed as ‘firmly rooted in herpersonal experience’ and throughouther work, woman dominates thescene, with wit and strength.

Korky Paul’s artwork style is immediately recognisable and trulyoriginal. It would be difficult to think of any illustrator workingtoday who can match his mastery for rich detail and intriguingperspective.
