ASIA We established the Guidance China Opportunity Fund in partnership with CBRE Global Investors to invest in Chinese residential assets. THE CENTER BUILDING Queens, New York
We identified The Center Building as having an irresistible location on Long Island — a growing submarket with rents far below those of the NYC metro market. Built in 1915, the eight-story building has 450,000 square feet of office space of which 70% was leased to high- quality private sector and government tenants at acquisition. Within three years, we successfully leased the vacant space and exited the investment, realizing excellent returns for our investors.
BAY STREET Emeryville, California
We redeveloped a former brownfield into an urban mixed-use property in the heart of the highly traversed San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge area. Bay Street is now a vibrant hub that is home to more than 65 shops, 10 restaurants, and a nationally ranked 15-screen cinema and IMAX Theater.
