The Shahadah is the first pillar of Islam

Salaat:Prayer

There are five required prayers that Muslims must pray each

Salatul Fajr, at dawn

Salatul Dhuhr, at midday

Salatul Asr, in the late afternoon

Salatul Maghrib, at sunset

Salatul ‘Isha, in the evening

Ritual ablution (Wudu) before prayer

Jumu'ah, congregational Friday prayer

Zakah is a pillar of Islam

Zakah is food or money given to those in need

The Quran does not specify an amount, but

many Muslims give 2.5% of their wealth yearly

Sawm is a pillar of Islam…

Sawm means fast, to give up food or drink during daylight hours.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

Hajjis a pillar of Islam…

Hajj is a trip to the Kabah in Mecca that every Muslim should make at least once in his or her life, if able

to.

7th to 13th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar.
