There was Mosque in Syria and close to it was a rail for trains. Few minutes after Ishaa prayer, we heard a cry of a young man, shouting and saying a train has crushed someone. We

gathered at the scene and saw the victim. He was a young man of 19 years. He was cut into two, and the train took the left side of the man.

He was still alive (Glorified be Allah, Who sustains and protects all that

exist). The other half of his body was shaking, his heart was beating, and he was breathing as could be seen from his lungs. He was alive still!

Someone went close to him, held his head, and whispered in his ears, "say Laa ilaaha illalLaah, say Laa ilaaha

illalLaah".

The half body of the young man was shaking, and he uttered

"Ashhadu allaa ilaaha illalLaah, wa Ashhadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah" repeatedly. The

halfbody stopped shaking, and his soul departed to its Creator (Allah).

The young man was dead.

He died with Laa ilaaha illallaah, as his last words. The people called for stretcher to carry his remains. The night was very dark. The people switched on the lights of their

handsets. They searched his clothes to get his address. One of them shouted "Yaa Allah! He was a

Christian. See cross on his hand!

They murmured in confusion," he died after he uttered) Laa ilaaha illallaah. Do we leave him, so that his family would

bury him in a christian way?" They carried the corpse, crying. Suddenly, his father appeared from the neighbourhood. The victim was living around. When his father saw them, he nodded his head and said while crying "you would be surprised

regarding what I shall tell you".

He said: my son loved listening to the Holy Quran so much, though he was a christian. He loved listening to the Quran (The Book of the Muslims). I usually entered his room and would find him with earpiece. I would ask

him, what are you listening to? He would say, I was listening to music. When I listen to the earpiece, I would hear that he was listening

to the Quran.

I attempted to stop him, but could not succeed. He told me that I

couldn't stop him no matter what I would do for him.

All the people around were looking at each other happily & crying. They said to the bereaved father, your son died believing in Oneness of

Allah.

He uttered Laa ilaaha illallaah as his last words. The bereaved father

said: "Ashhadu allaa ilaaha illallaah, wa Ashhadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah ". The night was for

jubilation and not mourning! The people were uttering Laa ilaaha

illallaah. The corpse was buried in the Muslim cemetery.
