SonicPics is a great presentational tool!
It addresses issues of:

Step 1:Find the App called
SonicPicsand touch the icon to
enter the App.

Step 2:After it opens, you’ll see this page. Make sure the projects icon is selected at the bottom, then click the plus at the top left to
begin a new project.

Step 3:The page you see to the right will open. We will
have to enter in a title of the project first, so touch
the Title Bar.

First Name, Last Initial, and Class
Note: To type in numbers, click the .?123 button on the bottom
left of the screen.

their recorded descriptions. So, find and touch the Add button.

record at the bottom. Before we record, double
check that the photos are in order by touching them or scrolling from
left to right.

Step 13:Now, if the photos are not in the right order,
you can rearrange where they go in the project by
touching one image, holding it and lifting it to where you want it to go.

Step 14:It’s time to record! When
you are ready, you will need to plug in a
microphone with the older model of iTouch, otherwise you will see this message. Some of the newer models may
not need a separate microphone, but the
voice recording quality may be better with the
microphone headphones from Apple.

Step 15:Once your microphone is set to record, you will
see this page with a photo. You can slide
through the photos with your finger at any time in
case the order isn’t exactly right. When you are prepared to begin
recording, push the red button at the bottom
where it says to tap here to begin. Many students

Step 16:If the top is red, it is
recording. Narrate the story/report/project and
change pictures by wiping your finger across
the screen.
FYI: You can pause and resume the recording by tapping the middle pause
button at any time.

Step 17:Pause the recording to finish the movie. On the bottom-right side of the
screen, tap the arrow jumping out of the
screen to end recording.

Step 18:To SAVE recording, push
the white button that says Save. To Delete
recording, push Delete. If you want to try again,
push cancel.

Step 19:To view movie, push the circle play button in the middle of the picture. If the quality is good, you will want to Share the
movie. You can share via web, via email, or by
connecting the device (DO NOT SYNC) to
your laptop.

recordings, push the Recordings button on the bottom right-hand
side of the opening screen.

SHARING MOVIES:We recommend Sharing via web. Type exactly the
numbered web address given from SonicPics into a blank browser. Download the movie. Click to watch from your downloads folder and iTunes will open.

Socrative is an online student response system that allows teachers to engage their students with a series of self-made or shared exercises and games.
What is “Socrative?”
The apps are very simple to use and it takes only seconds to login. Socrative runs on tablets, smartphones, and laptops.

How does it work?
Teachers login via their own device and select an activity which controls the flow of questions and games.
Students simply login with their device and interact in real time with the content.

Student responses are visually represented for multiple choice, true/false and Short Answer questions.
Assessments:
For pre-planned activities a teacher can view reports online as a google spreadsheet or as an e-mailed Excel file.

The End!With any App, it works best through trial and error. Anytime the App becomes difficult to
figure out, just try a few different strategies to get you to the last result. You can always delete
mistakes later.
