Nutricia Homeward Nursing Service:With over 100 Enteral Nurse Specialists, Nutricia Homeward is committed to providing the skills and reassurance to help patients manage home enteral feeding and stay out of hospital:
• Enteral Nurse Specialists provide training to support safe and
efficient hospital discharges*
• The bespoke nursing service provides regular patient reviews
and troubleshooting advice with the aim to help prevent
hospital re-admissions
• All nurses are NMC registered, DBS checked, CQC credited and
work to robust clinical governance and evidence-based policies
• Feeding tube changes and stoma assessment are all managed in
the community where appropriate
• All nursing activity and patient interventions are logged and can
be viewed electronically
Nutricia Homeward Out of Hours Advice Line:
• Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Manned by qualified nurses

Nutricia Homeward Patient Coordinators:Nutricia Homeward Patient Coordinators work in dedicated teams to:
• Provide a consistent point of contact for patients, carers and
healthcare professionals
• Liaise with GP practices to manage monthly prescriptions
• Complete monthly care calls with patients to check stock levels
to help minimise wastage and save money for the NHS
Nutricia Homeward Delivery Service:
• Feed supplies and equipment are delivered directly to your
patient’s door
• All Nutricia delivery drivers carry ID, are DBS checked and
have received specialist training to understand enteral feeding.
Anything unusual is reported to the managing healthcare
professional
• If required, drivers will carry heavy boxes into the home and
rotate stock
• Nutricia Homeward also offers a Text Ahead reminder service –
one text is sent the day before the delivery and a second one an
hour before the delivery to give patients increased freedom and
flexibility

Nutricia Homeward Pharmacy:The Nutricia Homeward Pharmacy team processes all prescriptions using scanning technology, which optimises safety and minimises risk.
The Nutricia Homeward Pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and operates under professionally and nationally agreed protocols.
Nutricia Homeward Holiday Service:Nutricia Homeward helps to enhance patients’ lives by offering advice and support for enterally fed patients who are planning a holiday in the UK or abroad.
Additional Services:Nutricia Homeward provides literature and support materials in audio, large print and different languages meaning we can meet all patients’ needs.
