Maximum MobilityThe MAX/Mobilesystem was developed for labswhere change is the only constant.

MAX/Mobile components are designed tominimize structural connections and floorpenetrations for service delivery while providingthe look and function of a more permanentlaboratory workstation. Mobile products connect tooverhead and vertical service carriers and dockingstations using quick connects/disconnects tomaximize function and flexibility.

Overhead service carriers are height adjustableand can accommodate storage shelves. Mobiletransporters and workstations are designed toaccommodate shelves, cable management andsuspended cabinets, and can hold up to 2,600pound loads. Mobile cabinets can double as anauxiliary work surface.

Design Flexibility

MAX/Mobile system components can be used tocreate laboratories with the same functionality asfloor mounted systems, but without thepermanence.

Overhead service carriers and floor mounteddocking stations allow for necessary equipmentmovement with no loss of functionality.

A full spectrum of MAX storage components isavailable to configure workstations to meetspecific needs.

Whether in combination with floor mountedcasework or as a complete mobile environment,MAX/Mobile components are designed to bemoved quickly and economically, yet provide alook of permanence.

Modular WorkstationAssembliesUtilize free-standing modular structures tosupport work surfaces and storagecomponents. Facilitate easy disassembly andreconfiguration with assemblies that are notbuilt-in or attached to the building structure.A wide variety of MAX support structuresand components are available to createworkstations for the laboratory on the move.

Mobile CabinetsEnhance overall flexibility with MAX/Mobile cabinets featuringmodular work surfaces. The units can be parked under cantilevertable frames to duplicate the functionality of fixed casework andbe easily relocated to provide knee or equipment space orfacilitate floor cleaning.

Use Mobile cabinets to quickly expand work surface space, fortransporting or sharing supplies and instruments.

Service Delivery ModulesOne key to optimizing the fixed footprint in a laboratory is toreduce or concentrate the floor penetration space of servicelines. Service delivery modules are available in both over-head and floor-mounted configurations. Overhead servicecarriers move services overhead to free up floor space. Floor-mounted docking stations concentrate service lines in a smallarea and are ideal for use with transporters.

TransportersMobile workstation units with the same storagecapacity and functionality as casework, tables, equipment racks and specialized mobileplatforms. Transporters facilitate rapidrearrangement of room layout and are ideal forsharing and servicing lab instruments andequipment.

Integrated Mobility/Adaptability4Trends dictate that labs must be reconfiguredquickly with minimal downtime and construction.

4Lab layouts are changing to allow for interactiveresearch plug-and-play utilities.

Nautilus Overhead Service Carrier

Overhead delivery of laboratory services can help minimize costly floor penetrations and provide an economicalalternative for new construction and renovations. Locating service fixtures overhead can help recover valuable worksurface space normally occupied by desk mounted fixtures. Room layout flexibility is enhanced by accommodating theuse of mobile furniture assemblies.

Overhead delivery of laboratory services with unmatched style and performance. The compactNautilus carrier body can be equipped to deliver power, data, communications, spot ventilationand lighting. Available in a wide variety of sizes, Nautilus can be configured to fit any application.

Data, communications andelectrical services are deliveredvia two rows of junction boxes.

Quick-connect fixtures providesecure, color keyed mediaconnections.

A splice connector joins individual units to create extended linear andintersecting assemblies.

Lighting options can be used to enhance or replace ceiling light fixtures.

Welded steel framework attaches to the ceiling structure for maximum rigidity.
