Current projects (for Master theses):
• “The dynamic interplay of boundary management preferences (i.e, how do I
want to manage the borders between work and nonwork?) and
consequences of boundary enactment (i.e., letting work enter a nonwork
role)”
• This topic can, for instance, go into the direction of befriending with
colleagues, ruminating about work while at home, or boundary
management tactics (i.e., how do we create boundaries between work
and home?)
• “The importance of meta-thinking/consciousness in the process of work-life
enrichment (i.e., transferring knowledge from one role to another)
• “Can you see how much we identify? Observing shared identity in teams
and their relation with team performance” (team project, available for 1
more Master thesis, start in the upcoming winter term the earliest)
• “When and why do supervisors endorse and support work-life friendly
policies?”

Current projects:
• Men and Women’s stereotypic characterizations in sub-Saharan African
countries
• The effect of gender stereotypes on organizational tasks in the German
and English banking sectors: Uncovering implicit bias
• Stereotype content of Germans and Africans in Germany
Thesis work will involve obtaining unique sample by student and will have to
be written in English.
