DESCRIPTION
THG Architects was founded in October 1994 by Halldór Guðmundsson and specialized in building design, project planning, management and supervision. Our list of project is vast and diverse; Office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, industrial buildings, flats, houses, airports, sporting facilities, dwellings for the elderly and renovation. We have also been working within urban planning and environmental evaluations. THG Architects has from the start aimed to fulfill the client’s wishes in a professional and practical manner. We strive for a positive relationship between architects, engineers, project managers and clients to ensure the best possible outcome of the project. In the past few years THG Architects has had the pleasure of increasing the number of project managers and project supervisors. THG Architects has 50 employees who all contribute to the broad skill base within the office, with particular attention to the areas of design, organization, management and supervision.

THG Architects is a progressive, international design and consulting company with experience of every diverse field of architecture, project management and construction.
THG architects was founded in 1994 and ever since then the offices´ main ambition is to fulfill and meet the client’s needs in the most professional and economical manner.
From day one the office has been among leading architecture offices in city planning, building design and construction services in Iceland and has expanded the services internationally with offices in Copenhagen, Denmark and NY city, USA.
The staff has years of experience dealing with foreign design offices and consulting companies in coordinating large scale as well as small scale planning and architectural projects.
Our project list includes every aspect of urban design and development such as, retail, housing, commercial, cultural, office, industrial, city planning, plot planning, interior planning, etc.
Our production and design tools are up to date along with every office equipment.Our staff has advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Indesign, AutoCAD 2009, Revit, Sketch Up, and 3D modeling software such as Form Z, Viz, Studio Max, Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator, Artlantis etc.

development in the coming years. The renovations of the Kringlan were voted the best mall improvements in Europe in the year 2000.
