NRC FLIS IG Entry Page mock-up v.1
Changes we are proposing
We have identified four main areas to arrange content and
organize information on FLIS homepage:
Area 1: will cover all daily administration related matters and
meetings
Area 2: will be dedicated to all on-going events, actual
information , relevant interesting articles, etc.
Area 3: will be dedicated to communication, information sharing
and networking
Area 4: will cover specific tolls developed for FLIS (i.e.
FLIP/TRENDS/Horizon Scanning/Glossary) 3
Feedback and Questions
• Area 1 (Navigation menu): Our proposal is to reduce the amount of links appearing in
the left navigation menu bar, with the aim to rid of the scrolling feature and mainly
keep the links that are most relevant to the FLIS Interest Group
Q: Would you want to keep things as they are or add something that you think may be
missing?
Your feedback:
• Area 2 (Calendar/Ongoing events/Articles): We are proposing to keep this area in the
centre of the page, since it deals with current, on-going, actual information
Q: Would you want to include anything else that you think may be useful for the FLIS group
to have in the centre of the page?
Your feedback:

Feedback and Questions
• Area 3 (Communication/Networking): We are proposing to create a dedicated space
for information sharing and networking and make it available directly from FLIS
homepage (LivCat/FLIS Co-operation).
Q: Are you happy to keep this area separately from the content one (Area 4)?
Your feedback:
• Area 4 ( Content input): Our proposal is to keep all content related applications
(FLIP/TRENDS/Horizon scanning/GLOSSARY) in one dedicated area i.e. Area 4 as shown
in the mock-up. The idea is that once the FLIS tools are ready for use (now located in
‘Projects’ folder) they will be moved to and accessible from the FLIS homepage.
Q: Would you want to see anything else in this content related applications area that may
be of relevance to all FLIS experts?
Your feedback:5
Thank you!
