What Pharmacies Can Do• Offer advice, guidance and medication

• Exchange prescription for medication as prescribed by GP

• Give advice on medicines

• Review your medicines in private

• Take your old and unwanted medicines and dispose of them safely

• Offer advice and signpost you to services to help you lose weight, stop smoking or cut down on alcohol

• The morning after pill

• Support and treatment to stop smoking

• Advice and support on reducing alcohol use

• Supervised methadone consumption

• Treatment for some minor ailments free of charge or no more than £7.85 if you pay for scripts
