    Directions

    1. Cut a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock that measures 11” x 4 ¼”. Score at 5 ½” and fold in half. This is your card base.

    2. Cut (2) pieces of Whisper White cardstock that measure 5 ¼” x 4”. Place one inside the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder and run through a die-cutting machine. Attach to the front of the card using Multipurpose Glue. Set the other one aside.

  • 3. Cut (4) pieces of Granny Apple Green cardstock that measure 1 ⅞” x 1 ⅜”.

    4. Using Whisper White cardstock, cut (4) rectangles using the Stitched Rectangles Dies. To stamp the three flowers onto the stitched rectangles, you’ll need to use Stampin’ Write Markers and color directly onto the rubber stamp. Using the brush end of the Granny Apple Green marker, “color” the stem and leaves using the side of the marker. Then color the two flowers (I used Highland Heather, Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushel). By the time you are ready to stamp the image onto your paper, the green marker will have dried so you’ll need to huff all over the stamp to reactivate the ink. After stamping, use a Light Purple Posy Stampin’ Blend to color in the Highland Heather flower, a Light Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blend to color in the Lovely Lipstick flower and a Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend to color in the Blueberry Bushel flower.

    5. Using Memento Ink, stamp the smaller bee from the Honey Bee stamp set onto the remaining Whisper White rectangle. Use a Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to color the stripes.

    6. Adhere the flowers and bee to the Granny Apple Green rectangles and adhere to the front of the card using Multipurpose Glue.

    7. On Whisper White cardstock, stamp the sentiment using Memento Ink. Cut it out using the Layering Ovals Dies and a die-cutting machine. Cut a larger Granny Apple Green oval and adhere the two pieces together. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the card.

    8. Stamp another flower onto the Whisper White cardstock that was set aside in Step 2. Adhere it to the inside of the card.
