It is important to wear clothing to protect yourself

when you go caving.

Knee pads are important especially when you have to crawl and a plastic box to keep things dry is necessary.

Of course a backpack to carry things

like extra lights, snacks, and maps is

good to have.

Mr. Schirle then gave us a virtual tour of one of the caves he has explored.

We even did an experiment using

limestone and vinegar!

We watched as the “acid”

(vinegar) dissolved the

stone!

We then took all the studying and reading and the visit from Mr. Schirle and did

some projects!
