1- Establishment of the Regional Safety Oversight Organization for MENA States (MENA

RSOO); and

2- MID Region ATM Enhancement Programme (MAEP), including:

a- MID Flight Procedure Programme (MID FPP); b- MID ATS Route Network Optimization Project (ARNOP) – Phase I; c- MID IP Network; d- MID Integrated Flight Plan Processing System (MID IFPS); e- MID Region AIM Database (MIDAD); and f- Regional/Sub-Regional ATFM System.

3.7 With respect to MENA RSOO, Saudi Arabia re-confirmed its commitment to support the establishment of the MENA RSOO by hosting the RSOO and providing financial and in-kind support to expedite its establishment (no need for another study). 3.8 With regard to MAEP, it was highlighted that the organizational structure of the programme was amended by the MAEP Board/2 meeting (Cairo, Egypt, 11-13 April 2016).
