Baptisms: Arrangements must be made by parents through the Rectory Office to schedule baptisms and arrange for Pre-Baptism classes. All parents expecting to baptize their first child are to attend Pre-Baptism classes.
Weddings: Arrangements should be made with a priest through the Rectory Office at least six months prior to the desired date. All couples must attend Pre-Cana classes which are normally scheduled in March.

MOLEBEN TO CHRIST THE LOVER OF
MANKIND
Each Thursday during the month of June at 7:00
pm, we will be praying a Moleben service in honor
of Christ The Lover of Mankind.
VOLUNTEERS FOR FESTIVAL
The next Festival Committee Meeting will be held on
Monday, June 13th, at 7pm in the Men's Club Room.
We welcome parishioners to join the meeting to
discuss the planning of the activities to be done prior
to the festival as well as those activities to be done on the day of
the festival.

Запрошуємо наших парафіян провести гарно час
під час недільних літніх пікніків, які організовує
наша парафія після ранкової Літургії на 9:30 і приблизно
до 3:00 години.
Дні проведення пікніків - НЕДІЛІ: 5-го червня, 5-го
липня і 7-го серпня.
В разі дощу пікнік буде перенесений на наступну неділю.
Це чудова нагода зустрітися разом, поспілкуватися,
запізнати одне одного, а також дорослим і дітям
повеселитись разом досхочу. Цей захід буде проводитись
під керівництвом Ганса Блума, Михайла Сопки і за
сприяння членів Чоловічого Клубу. Ми також
запрошуємо до співпраці інших парафіян, так як треба
буде розставити cтоли, приготувати їдження, напої,

Богородиці плануємо взяти участь в 62 – ій молитовній
прощі до відпустового місця Сестер Служебниць в
містечку Слоутсбург, біля Нью Йорка. Проща триватиме
два дні з нічлігом. Парафія буде замовляти
комфортабельний автобус для поїздки. Приблизна вартість поїздки на особу - проїзд і нічліг – 100 $. Просимо

CONVENTION
We invite the young people of our parish to
attend the annual Acolyte & Youth
Convention which will be held at The Gilmary
Catholic Retreat Center in Coraopolis, PA on
June 15th-17th, 2016. We have extended the
convention to a three-day event! Connecting to Pope Francis’s
dedication of the 2016 Jubilee Year of Mercy, the theme of the
convention will be centered upon the Mercy of God.
The youth will have an opportunity to meet others from the
eparchy, develop friendships, and grow closer to our Lord
through the spiritual conferences and liturgical services that will
be provided. We hope that each participant will be able to
afford to experience God's mercy, which is poured on us by
God's love and kindness. Families are welcome. A ‘juniors
program’ will be available for younger attendees (ages 7-12).
Registration for the ‘juniors program’ is necessary.

anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine. Festivities
start with a Parade on State Road and followed by our St.
Josaphat Parish Festival. More information will follow.
SUMMER PICNICS
The Parish will be having a picnic during the summer
months on the following Sundays starting after 9:30
Divine Liturgy until approximately 3:00 pm on
following dates: June 5 - July 10 - August 7. The picnics will be
held subject to weather conditions. In case of bad weather on
above dates the event will move to the Sunday thereafter.
The purpose of the picnic is to offer an opportunity to socialize
with the whole family, especially for the children to play games
and have fun and for the adults to meet with others especially
new parishioners and visitors.
The events will be held under the leadership of Hans Bloom,
Mihajlo Sopka and assisted by Men’s Club members. We also
welcome the help of parishioners for the set up, the serving of
food and drinks and after the event the breakdown of the tent
and clean up. Many hands will make the work light. Please
confirm your help to Hans Bloom by phone call or text message
at 440-463 5508. The events will be supervised by Fr. Bohdan
and in his absence by Fr. Joseph.
Mihajlo will take care of grilled food (Shiskabob), whereas
other food, coffee, pastries and drinks will be provided with
money received. Donations will be taken at the picnics. We
welcome any appetizers or deserts to bring and to share with
others.
The proceeds of each event will be deposited in a fund for
holding other and future events for parishioners and visitors to
our Parish. We hope you all will join on above dates and we
look forward to see you than.

would like to extend our greetings to you in church or with an
announcement in the parish bulletin. Please call the rectory

62ND HOLY DORMITION PILGRIMAGE
We are planning a pilgrimage to the Sisters Servants Mary
Immaculate 62nd Holy Dormition Pilgrimage, Sloatsburg, New
York on August 13 & 14, 2016 - two days with one night stay in
New York. The cost per person travel and lodging - $100. More

We graciously thank our dedicated pyrohy workers
who donate their time and efforts each week to our
Cathedral pyrohy project. Pyrohy Sales hours are
Thursdays & Fridays from 8am until 1pm. We invite all
parishioners to consider helping us with this project. HOMEBOUND PARISHIONERS
If you have a relative or know of any parishioner who
is homebound and cannot come to church, please let us
know so that our priests can visit them with the
sacraments and provide them with spiritual care. If
you know of any elderly parishioner who would like to attend
the Divine Liturgy but does not have a car or a ride, please let
us know. We ask that you help us to provide for the spiritual
needs of our homebound parishioners by contacting the parish
office office or our priests directly to let us know who and
where they are. NANNY NEEDED
Free room in a house in exchange for nanny’s help. A female/
male is needed to supervise 3 children (10,11,13 years old)
during night in exchange for free room in our house. The
children will sleep during the night to be ready for school. The
nanny will also sleep at night but for us it’s help because
children can’t be left alone. The parents work during the night.
