Holy Spirit Prayer Shawl Ministry Celebrating 13th Anniversary
In February, the Holy Spirit Prayer Shawl Ministry will be celebrating its 13th anniversary. The Mass Intention for Sunday, January 31, 9 AM Mass, will be for the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Since its inception, the ministry has dis-tributed over 5,300 prayer shawls and lap blankets to parishioners at the St. Peregrine Masses as well as to various organizations through-
out the Valley such as: Ironwood Cancer Center, Grief to Grace Retreat, Emmaus Ministry, Editha House, Rachel's Vineyard, Americare Hospice, My Sister's Place, Tears Speak, Christ the King Cancer Center, and Diocese of Phoenix - Mass of Healing and Abuse. We also create baptismal cloths for the Baptism Ministry, baby blankets for the Aid to Women Center, and hats and scarves for an orphanage in Mexico and the home-less. During the pandemic, prayer shawl ministry members are knitting and crocheting from home. If you would like more information regarding this ministry, contact the parish office, (480) 838-7474. Comforting Prayer Shawls
Are feeling overwhelmed about the current health crisis? Let the comfort and healing of a Prayer Shawl or lap blanket surround you with peace. If you, or some-one you know, would benefit from receiving a Prayer Shawl, please reach out to the parish office, (480) 838-7474, for additional information. Subscribe to the weekly parish bulletin
