Jesus said to his disciples, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith al-so in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be.” (John 14: 1-3) Let us pray for these family members and friends who have had their funerals here at St. Timothy Parish since November 1, 2017:
Our annual Memorial Mass for all who have died in this past year is this coming Friday, November 2nd (All Souls Day) at 7:00pm. Please come and remember and pray for our loved ones who have died, and come to support their family and friends.

X L T : “ W A I T ” Sunday, 12/2: XLT from 6-9pm. Do you ever feel stuck? Like you are praying for things to change and nothing is happening? Sometimes God can speak loudest in moments of waiting if we are simply willing to lis-ten. St. Timothy parish invites you to experience the radical love of Je-sus Christ through XLT as we WAIT for Him this Season of Advent. XLT is a transformational night of prayer, consisting of praise & worship, a powerful message, Reconciliation and Adoration of the Blessed Sacra-ment. XLT is short for EXALT, so come join us in exalting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, and experience a real & powerful encounter with God. Catholic or not, young or old, all are welcome!
Our Year 2 Confirmation teens went on retreat this past weekend and spent time in prayer & fellow-ship diving in to the theme “Search”, reflecting on the big questions of life: who is God, what is my
purpose, why do I need the Church?, etc. Please continue to pray for them!

All Saints Day November 1 Feast of All Souls November 2
On All Saints Day we celebrate all the people who followed God on earth and are in Heaven. On the Feast of All Souls, we remember all the people who are still in Purgatory. While we are alive we try to love God and do what He asks so that when we die we can go to Heaven to be with Him. We can also help the souls in Purgatory. They are suffering because they have to make up for the sins they did when they were on earth. They can’t go to Heaven until their souls are clean. We can help them by offering prayers and sacrifices to God for them. The Saints in Heaven loved and served God and made up for their sins. We can pray to them and they can pray to God for us, to help us get to Heaven too!

“I pray and serve like JESUS!”
The Tiny Tim children studied the gospel of Jesus Christ and learned all about serving others. They
artistically decorated cereal boxes to donate to the Food Pantry showing that we all can serve others, just like Jesus.

“And Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way; your faith has made you well.’ And im-mediately he received his sight and fol-lowed him on the way.” (Mark 10:52)
Faith is believing in something even though you may not be able to see it. Many people think that miracles don’t happen anymore. But, if you focus on the positive, not the negative, focus on your blessings instead of your hardships, miracles will seem common and you will see God’s active presence in your daily life.
