These are our Early Years’ teachers

Some children come to school by

car and lots of boys and girls

walk. It is good exercise to walk.

You will get your own peg with your name and picture

on.

You will have a tray with your

name and picture on, to put your

things in.

You will sit and have snack with your class and talk about lots of

fun things.

At lunchtime you will

get your lunch and the lunch-time supervisors

will look after you. You will learn to carry your tray carefully to the table and learn to

cut up your food.

At school you will learn how to write. You will do it in lots of different ways.

You will learn how to read and

someone will read with you every

week.

We really enjoy listening to stories and sometimes you

get to act them out.

You will get to use different equipment in

PE. You will wear a white T-shirt, green shorts and bare feet

when you are in the hall.

We have laptops in our classroom and our school has a set of ipads you can

use.

How many footballers can you see on the pitch?

We make maths really

fun!

Team work is really important in our school.

You will also learn to work on your own or in a group

without a teacher.

You will get the chance to work with different

teachers during the week.

We have Harry the tortoise and

Blue the rabbit in our school. You will learn how to look after animals and take care of them.

Going outside with your friends is always very exciting as there is so much to do and so much space!

Learning outside is exciting!

You will be able to make lots of things.

Your parents get to come and play on special days.

We can’t wait to see you soon.

You will get to go on some fabulous trips.
