OUR VISION is to create a community where 100% of adoptable animals find loving homes, and no animals will be euthanized due to pet overpopulation. 2024 is our long term goal! OUR MISSION of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Incorporated is to provide shelter to lost, homeless, and unwanted animals; to provide spay, neuter, and other medical services for companion animals; to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals; and to advocate animal welfare, community involvement, and education to further the bond between people and animals.
OUR PROMISE TO THE ANIMALS Humane Care Quality of Life
Life-Long Loving Homes Spay/Neuter to Control Overpopulation
• In 2008 Palm Beach County approved a spay and neuter ordinance which requires all domestic animals to be altered OR a breeders permit be approved, in an attempt to get the pet population under control as well as limit the number of animals being brought to area shelters. PBC is among only a few counties to have such a law.
• All Peggy Adams animals are altered prior to adoption in accordance with this ordinance
• Spaying and Neutering is the most humane way to control pet and stray populations.
ONE Female cat and her first litter can produce 420,000 felines over a seven year period of time.
