“The Electronic Generation” Fascination with cell phones, computers, etc. With some, it seems more like an addiction Some young people cannot seem to function
unless they are at a computer or have a cell phone in their hand (Does this describe you?)

Some Present & Practical Observations Perhaps this generation should be called
“The Electronic Generation” Is owning, using such things inherently sinful? No…they can be wonderful, helpful
For Churches Another way to obey the command in Mk 16:15 Web sites, preacher reports, etc.

For Families A way to stay connected when distanced by space A comforting help to parents with children on the go

if not sinful behavior
Social networking sites (Facebook) easily provide ways to gossip, slander, meddle in the affairs of others 1 Tim 5:13 cp. Rom 13:14

“The Electronic Generation” Yet, they can be instruments for questionable,
if not sinful behavior
Texting seems “over the top”…especially when some may have their phones out right before worship sending a message

Conclusion Every “generation” has an identity
The Greatest Generation That Ever Lived(fought & survived W.W.I)
Saints in the N.T. church in 1950’s & 60’s(kept the church from going into apostasy)
Traits they possess…choices they made endear them to unborn future generations

Conclusion Even a “good” generation can give way to a
“bad” generation Judg 2:10 Through careless neglect, their own failures?
What about your “generation?” What will you be known for? That you can’t be pleased…That you don’t
believe…That you won’t repent?
