• Showdown matches are tag matches.

• The purpose of playing Showdown mode is

primarily to gain Showdown coins which

can be used in the Showdown shop.

• The Showdown shop refreshes every 24

hours or sooner if opting to use in game

cash. Check discord for the most current

list of items that may appear and their cost.

Note: Not everything in the shop is a good value.

Sound choices often include:

• “Hot Deals”, shards, superstars and gear

If in doubt, ask in main chat, we’re here to help!

Pro Tip: Some utilize Showdown mode to heal superstars instead of using health

packs. To do this put your main workhorse in slot 1 and the superstar you would

like to gain health back in slot 2. Win the match, the more loot boxes broken the

more health restored to both superstars. Repeat and rotate superstars as needed.

Tournaments

There are 3 ongoing tournaments each

week with teams consisting of:

Male + Male

Male + Female (Mixed)

Female + Female

Notoriety, Leagues, and Daily Limits

Notoriety: Goes up with Wins and down

with Losses. Your total determines

which League you are in.

League: This determines the limit of

coins you can earn per day.

The higher the League the higher the

Daily Limit.

This concept is applied to each

tournament type individually. Some

choose to max this mode every day.

Others play it once for the daily mission

and/or for healing superstars.

• Showdown Contests generally include a

faction event as well as a solo event.

• These contests are great for resources,

monthly event keys/coins and Showdown

coins.

• They are reasonable to complete provided

you know “The Secret”. Covered later.

How to get points:

The contests have given points for obtaining

Showdown coins, winning Showdown matches,

using health packs and faction heals.

Sometimes the contest ties into other events.

Example bonus points for winning with a specific

superstar. These may have a limit 10/10 etc.

Special Contest Tournaments and Leagues

• These are in addition to the weekly

tournaments. Be sure to click the right one!

• The daily limit for Showdown coins is

greatly increased across just a few leagues.

• The timer indicates when they will reset.

Be in the highest league when

the weekly bonus Showdown coins

are distributed.

The amount of coins awarded is greatly increased

during Special Showdown contests.

It is easy to max the event if you know the secret

and go hard to maintain the highest league and

get the bonus coins. It’s a challenge if you do not.

The Special tournaments have started on both Friday and Saturday. Sometimes they

are only 24 hours, sometimes they are longer. Plan your approach accordingly.

Example Strategy for a Saturday start time:

• Go hard on day one in the special tournament

o maxing all the leagues and daily Showdown coins

• Heal faction mates when possible and check back to make sure you are still

in the final league before the weekly coins are sent

.

• After collecting the coins, you will be close to, or have completed the event.

Things to keep in mind:

• Speed & Efficiency are key!

• Rotate teams to save HPs.

• Are there any perks active?

• Are there any bonuses tied to events

for using specific superstars?

• Using subs can save HPs, but you’re in

for a long night.

Pro Tips:

• Some Tag Team bonuses and trainer combinations are very powerful and can

even offset perks.

• Teams that can win on turn 1 or 2 are highly recommended. Many can max

the daily coins in under 3 hours.

• MP down are just one of the perks often in play. This increases the value of

fast hard-hitting superstars that do not require MP trainers. Ex. Harper and

Rey. As well as those that can recycle their special moves.

• Check in discord for the latest information and glitches. Sometimes the

trainer bonuses on one teammate are given to the other as well. This can

make for some very overpowering combinations.

Things to keep in mind:

• You do get notoriety for defensive wins!

• Consider how the computer will play.

• If you change trainers after they are set,

they are still impacted by the change.

Pro Tips:

• Every tip on the previous page for choosing your offensive team applies.

• One way to reduce the times you are attacked is to develop your team around

taking a lot of time to defeat and not necessarily doing a lot of damage. This

could be through submissions, countdown gems, skip turns or low charge

moves simply for the animations.
