I’m sure that my fellow classmates will be nervously typing this paper, worrying about what

grade they are going to get, and stressing about whether what they write is good enough. I am

going to go ahead and say that that is the opposite of what I’m doing. I believe that life is too

short to worry about every little thing. I believe that if you are not having fun, you are living life

wrong. Starting out in middle school, I was like everyone else, trying my hardest to fit in and be

socially acceptable and normal. I soon found out that living life like that was boring and for

losers. I believe that you should do whatever you want, whenever you want, because you won’t

get a second chance to do so. Letting what everyone else thinks dictate what decisions you

make is lame. If you want to carry spaghetti in your pockets every day nobody is stopping you. I

don’t want to spend my short time here on earth worrying about whether or not my friends

sisters boyfriend thinks I’m queer. I’d rather spend my youth watching King of The Hill, shooting

at friends with bb guns and vice versa, and making as many King of The Hill references as

possible than worry about whether or not I am a normal person that fits into society. I also

believe that everyone should have friends. Life is impossible to get through without friends, it

would be so mind numbingly dull if I couldn’t make juvenile jokes with my friends, that I would

probably die. My friends are important because the stories I’ve created with them are probably

going to be the only thing to do when I’m old, and have nothing better to do than talk to my

grandchildren about my youth. Life is pretty short, so I’m going to enjoy it while I’m young, since

getting older and older is just gonna suck more and more. Hopefully I don’t become one of

those old people who’s most exciting part of the day is complaining about the news, and the

kids walking in my yard. But it will inevitably happen, just like it does for every other geezer. I

believe, that life should be fun, not serious.
