If youfill out and sign an applicationmanually you can have a 21-day temporary status by callingUSANA Distributor Serviceswhile you wait for USANA toreceive the written copy.
B. Order USANA products that
total 150 points, or 450 pointswith 3 Business Centres, inPersonal Sales Volume (PSV).These products are for personaluse and for retail sale, and maybe ordered in a single order oraccumulated over time.
C. Order USANA product worth100 or 200 Personal SalesVolume (PSV) points for 3Business Centres for personaluse and resale every four weeks.

Calculating commissionsCommissions are awarded first
in commission points, which areconverted to the Associates’ localcurrency. Commissions are paid onwhole increments of balancedGroup Sales Volume (GSV)accumulated in your left and rightside organizations (Figure 3). ExtraGSV, up to 5,000 points on eachside, is carried forward—it’s likemoney in the bank.
Calculating commissions with 1 Business Centre
Assume that your 001 BusinessCentre is active and has 100 pointsin PSV within the current week. Todetermine the GSV, which is thecombined PSV of your downlinefrom which your commission forthe week is calculated, you totalthe points in PSV generated duringthe current week from every
Business Centre in the left andright side of your 001 BusinessCentre. For example, if you havegenerated 2,000 points in GSV onyour left side and 2,000 points onyour right; your own PSV countstoward the GSV of your upline.According to the CommissionPayout Schedule (Figure 3) yourhighest balanced GSV is 2,000 oneach side, which would earn you acommission of 400 points for theweek.
Carryover In Figure 4, you have a total of3,500 points on your left side and2,500 points on your right.According to the CommissionPayout Schedule, your highest
balanced GSV is 2,000 on eachside, equaling 400 points for theweek. The extra GSV would carryforward, and you would start thenext week with 1,500 points inGSV on your left side and 500points on your right side.

MARKETING PLANS
Statistics show that a distributor will personallysponsor between 2 and 3 people. Traditional plansrequire a person to sponsor many more distributors inorder to earn a reasonable income.
Traditional plans only pay distributors approximately5% on breakaway volume and limit the number oflevels from which you can earn commissions.
Most traditional plans require distributors to generate amonthly group volume of between $1,000 to $3,000in order to maintain their organization.
In traditional plans, the reward is too far removed fromthe work, with commissions being paid the followingmonth.
When your upline sponsor personally sponsors another distributor, that person is generally placed onyour sponsor’s first level, and you receive no benefit.

Group Sales Volume is to addPreferred Customers to the left andright side of your Business Centres(Figure 5). Preferred Customerscan order USANA products atAssociate prices, but they do notaccumulate Personal Sales Volume,nor are they paid commissions.Although you do not earn retailcommissions from the orders ofPreferred Customers, their ordersearn points, which are added toyour GSV total for the side inwhich they are placed (left orright). Those Associates whochoose not to be Distributors, andthus do not retail products, fulfilltheir sales requirements throughPreferred Customers.
Additional income potentialAs you become increasingly
successful selling USANA’snutritional and personal careproducts, you can qualify for Re-Entry Certificates, which allow youto increase your number ofBusiness Centres and your incomepotential.
Whenever you maximize aBusiness Centre (accumulate 5,000points in GSV, current andcarryover, in both your left and
right sides in a single week), youcan earn a Re-Entry Certificate(Figure 5). A Re-Entry Certificateallows you to re-enter in your owndownline with an additionalBusiness Centre. To activate aBusiness Centre with a Re-EntryCertificate, you must orderUSANA products totalling 150points in PSV at the time youredeem the certificate. You canearn up to three Re-EntryCertificates per Business Centre,and no matter how many BusinessCentres you activate, it only takes200 points in PSV in your 001Business Centre within each four-week period to keep all of themactive.
Doubling commissions with 3 Business Centres
As illustrated in Figure 6, youcan see the difference betweenbuilding a business with 1 BusinessCentre versus 3 Business Centres.As you build Business Centres 002and 003, you are simultaneouslybuilding Business Centre 001without additional effort. With 3Business Centres, you buildbalanced legs on 2 BusinessCentres and earn commissions onthree.
On the right side of Figure 6,you will see that your 002 and 003Business Centres each have 1,000points in GSV on the left side and1,000 points on the right.According to the CommissionPayout Schedule, the highestbalanced GSV is 1,000, earningyou 200 commission points for theweek in the 002 and 003 BusinessCentres. Your 001 Business Centrewould earn the same 400 points ascompared to the one BusinessCentre on the left side of Figure 6.That’s an 800-point commission for you—twice the commission forthe week.
