Step 4: x^2-2x-3=0I factored the polynomial and got(x-3)(x+1)=0And I solved for x.

(x-3)=0 (x-1)=0Which makes x=3 and x=1Step 5:X=3And the volume of the box is3(x+3)=(x)(x+3)(x-2)Plug in 3 for x and lets see what we get.
