Minutes Operating Reliability Subcommittee (ORS) September 20, 2011 Delta Montreal Hotel 475 President-Kennedy Avenue Montreal, Quebec The Operating Reliability Subcommittee (ORS) met on September 20, 2011 in Montreal, Quebec. The meeting agenda and attendance list are affixed as Exhibits A and B, respectively. Administrative Items Chair Frank Koza presided and the secretary announced that a quorum was present. The secretary summarized the NERC Notice of Public Meeting and the NERC Antitrust Compliance Guidelines. Minutes The subcommittee approved the minutes of the May 3, 2011 Reliability Coordinator Working Group meeting, the minutes of the May 4, 2011 ORS meeting, as amended, and the minutes of the May 18, 2011 and the August 11, 2011 ORS Executive Committee meetings. Future Meetings The future subcommittee meetings include: 1. November 15, 2011 (full day) and November 16, 2011 ( half day) in Sacramento, CA (hosted by CAISO) 2. February 8, 2012 (full day) and February 9, 2012 (half day) in Tampa, FL (hosted by FRCC) 3. May 8, 2012 (full day) and May 9, 2012 (half day) in Charlotte, NC (hosted by Duke Energy) Balancing Authority-to-Reliability Coordinator Mapping The secretary reviewed the balancing authority-to-reliability coordinator mapping document. ORS Executive Committee Chair Koza informed the subcommittee that his term as chair will end on December 31, 2011. Therefore, at its November 2011 meeting, the ORS will elect new officers. He reminded the subcommittee that a vacancy currently exists on the executive committee. Those presently serving on the executive committee are Frank Koza, Colleen Frosch, Don Shipley, and Joel Wise.
