North Sea Production - UK Drilling Activities
• Preparing to restart a platform drilling programme on Beryl in late 2009.
• Finalising plans to resume semi-submersible drilling on Beryl area satellites.
• Drilling and exploration work ongoing on the Corbenic acreage with first well to spud in 1st quarter 2009.

Contracting Philosophy -• Consider joint UK and Norway workscopes when tendering.
Award single UK/Norway contracts where practical and economically advantageous.
• Longer term agreements preferred, (typically 5 years with multi year extension options)
• Embrace Supply Chain Code of Practice whilst maintaining alignment with ExxonMobil global standards- Use of industry databases (FPAL/Achilles) throughout the supplier
qualification and tender process (including FPAL Capability Profile and Performance Feedback)
- Use of industry standard ITT models where appropriate - Provide relevant debriefing for tenderers- Include 30 day payment terms in all contracts [and maintain
payment performance through life of contract] • Establish and measure key performance indicators for all
contracts.
