Sacraments
In order to celebrate the following Sacraments in our Parish, it is vital to be an active member of our Faith Community by participating regularly in our Worship and being a registered
parishioner.
Registration: If you wish to become a member of our parish family, please
stop by the Parish Office to register.
Baptism: We ask that you please make an appointment, prior to birth,
if possible, with the Pastor.
Marriage: An appointment with the Pastor must be made at least 6
months before the wedding celebration.
Reconciliation: First Saturday of the month
9:30 to 10:30 AM, or by appointment.
Pastoral Care: If you or someone you know wishes a visit and/or Holy
Communion during an illness or hospital stay, please contact the Parish Office.

Ministry Enrichment Day Saturday November 3, 2018
9:00 am—5:30 pm
Bavarian Inn Lodge, Frankenmuth Do you Minister to others, at home, in your neighborhood or in
your Parish?
Do you volunteer at your local food pantry? Are you part of a funeral
luncheon team? Are you a Catechist, a money counter, a greeter? Do
you visit the sick and homebound? Are you a liturgical minister of
Music, of the Eucharist, a Lector, Hospitality or Altar server?
Ministry Enrichment Day is your opportunity to learn how what you
do in service of God and neighbor builds up our communities and
brings the face of Christ to those yearning for love.
This day is important and it is for YOU. Registration Forms and information are available in the back of
church or in the Parish Office.
The cost will be covered by the parish.

OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP PARISH
Our Faith Formation program for children in
pre-school through 5th grade will begin with an
introduction and registration for families on
Saturday September 15th
3:00 pm in the Parish Center.
Registration forms can be found on the parish website or
picked up at the back of church or in the parish office.
This year we begin a
NEW Family Centered Faith Formation Program
Our new program consists of family packets to be shared at
home with our children, supported and enhanced by twice
monthly gatherings, one Saturday afternoon and one
Wednesday evening when children will gather for prayer
music and activities based on the theme of the month and
parents will gather to share and discover their faith as
Catechist to their children.
In addition children preparing to receive the Sacraments
will meet with their Catechist each Wednesday.

LITURGY COORDINATOR
OLPH Parish is seeking a part-time, Liturgy Coordinator.
The ideal candidate should be a practicing Catholic and have a
background which includes proficiency in playing instruments con-
ducive to Catholic Liturgy. Organ, piano or its equivalents are re-
quired for Sunday Liturgies and all services during the liturgical year.
Organizational skills should be strong along with teaching skills
related to groups of children and adults for possible choir direction.
Services separate from Sunday Liturgies are also required which in-
clude Communion Services in the absence of a priest, funerals and
weddings. Collaborative partnerships with other ministering
committees is also essential. This person is accountable to perform
these duties according to the Mission of the Roman Catholic church
and the policies and procedures outlined in the Catholic Diocese of
Saginaw Employee handbook.

FAITH FORMATION COORDINATOR
OLPH Parish is seeking a part-time Faith Formation Coordinator who
is able to oversea all catechetical programs in our parish from pre-
school through adult. They must have strong people skills and a com-
prehensive understanding of Catholic beliefs and
practices, and be able to clearly and engagingly impart them to chil-
dren and adults. They must be a practicing Catholic with a visible
presence in our parish.

We continue to keep those who have been sick for some time in our prayers. Your name or that of your loved one will remain on our prayer chain until you call to have them taken off. We will however only publish the names of those most recently sick in the bulletin but we ask our parishioners to continue to pray for all the sick of our parish.

Margaret Hessel, Charles Cantwill All praise and glory are yours. Lord our God.
For you have called us to serve you
and one another in love.
Bless our sick today so that they may bear their
illness in union with Jesus’ sufferings

And give them courage and strength in their faith.
