WednesdayFamily Night Here at Second Baptist Church Wednesday night is family night. Each week we provide classes and activities for all ages along with our weekly Fellowship Supper.

Second Life Class If you are thinking about joining with our church family, we offer a Second Life Class to let you know more about what we believe and why we believe it. Our next Second Life Class will be a luncheon on Sunday, December 4th. We will meet in the Family Life Center immediately after the morning service. Please stop by the Welcome Center and sign up today. Also, let them know if you will need childcare.

Irish Christmas Join Ireland’s own Keith and Kristyn Getty, writers of modern hymns and carols, for their fifth annual tour of Irish Christmas - A Celebration of Carols! The Gettys are joined by their band of virtuoso instrumentalists fusing Celtic, Bluegrass, Americana, and classical music as well as cultural dance and the choral sounds of the holiday. Tickets are available for purchase at the Welcome Center and on our website, secondfamily.tv. This event will be on December 11th at 7:30 PM. Invite your family and friends to come enjoy this fantastic time of worship together! Due to the time of this event, we will have no other evening activities before the concert. Childcare will not be provided for this event.

Tasting Grace with Kids Attention all parents and kids 6-13; we are hosting a Tasting Grace: Kids Edition on Saturday, December 17th, baking Christmas Cookies! We will begin with kids 6-9 years old at 9:00 AM in the YAC Auditorium kitchen. Parents, we do require at least one of you to be here to help with this age group. At 11:00 AM we will have our 10-13 year olds. Parents are optional for this age group. Please sign up at the Welcome Center AND let us know if there are any allergies with your kids when you sign them up.

Christmas Brunch The Women’s Ministry of Second Baptist can’t wait to celebrate the 19th annual Christmas Brunch with you on Saturday, December 3rd, at 10:00 AM! Remember, ticket sales will end after today’s morning service. Please pick up a ticket ($20) and invite your family and friends to this wonderful kickoff to the Christmas Season. Sign up for childcare at the Welcome Center. It’s going to be a sweet and delicious time together.

Christmas Schedule Here what’s coming up in December! On Sunday, December 4th, we will have our Preschool and Elementary Christmas Choir Concert at 6:30 PM. Then, on December 11th we will have The Gettys in concert with our Adult Choir beginning at 7:30 PM. The following Sunday, December 18th, will be our Carol, Candlelight, Communion service. And new this year, we are offering a Christmas Eve Service at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 24th. This will last about an hour. On Sunday, December 25th, we will not have Life Groups or any evening activities, but we will still meet for church at 10:30 AM. We look forward to worshiping with you during this Christmas season!

SBK Christmas Program Our Second Baptist Kindergarten would like to invite you to join them for their Christmas Program in the Main Worship Center on Tuesday, December 6th, at 6:30 PM. Come listen as our 2’s, 3’s, 4s, and 5’s get us ready for the Christmas season and remember Jesus is the reason we celebrate! You won’t want to miss it!

No Evening Activities We will have no evening activities tonight in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will see everyone back on Wednesday, November 30th!

Our Family Night Supper begins at 4:30 PM every Wednesday night in the Family Life Center. The cost is $4 per adult and $3 per child with a max cost of $15 per family.

THIS WEEK’s MENU WILL BE: Cheese grits, scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, fruit & pastries bar. The kids menu is the same.
