IN SYMPATHY
Ben Unrau, brother-in-law to Mary & Jake Klassen, passed away on Friday,
September 10. Memorial services were conducted on Thursday,
September 16.
May the presence of Jesus and the power of His resurrection bring comfort
and strength to the families now sorrowing.
CHURCH RE-OPENING
New health restrictions came into effect on August 28. In these new
orders, we are allowed to have 50% capacity in our building, which is 450
people. That means you can all come to worship our God together in
person! Masks are required to be worn upon entry and exit; once you are
seated and appropriately distanced, masks may be removed. A n y
change takes some time to get used to and always requires adjustment;
as we adjust, whether it is out in the community or by gathering as a
church family, may we all be patient and understanding with one another,
recognizing that each person will have varying comfort levels with how
quickly these restrictions are removed.
Tithes and offerings: Your regular tithes and offerings are greatly
appreciated during this time. There are several options available for you
to donate:
1. You can drop off your donation at the worship service.
2. You can mail your donation to 600 Southview Drive, Winkler MB
R6W 2P7.
3. You can donate online if you bank with the Access Credit Union.
E-transfers are an option as well. If help is needed with online access,
please contact our church treasurer at [email protected].
In your email please provide your name and address.
4. Donations can be dropped off in person at the church office.
The worship service will be livestreamed at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morn-
ings and the video posted to YouTube on Sunday mornings. Please check

TAKE NOTE
1. CHURCH PICNIC TODAY here at the church. The service will be held
outside on the south side of the building with a
picnic lunch and activities after the service. Please
bring lawn chairs to sit on and we ask that you park
your vehicles on the west side of the hut or on the
north side of the church. If you would like to sit in
your vehicle for the service, there will be one row
reserved right along the south side of the parking lot.
The worship service starts at 10:15 AM, as this service also kicks
off a new ministry year for children’s ministry.
For lunch we ask that each family bring their own food and
beverages. We will have several camp fires going if you wish to bring
food that you can cook over the fire.
We have fun activities planned for all ages, including a free throw
competition, bean bag toss and a ring toss, baseball accuracy throw,
chipping and putting competition, “Javelin” throwing, balance beams
and bubble wands for the kids, and more. There are also prizes
planned for the different events. Join us for a great day of fellowship
and fun!
2. Are you wondering where God is going with
this church? How do we fit into His overall
plans? How do you fit in? Are we where we
are supposed to be? Is our focus right?
These, and more, are the questions we as Elder Board have been
considering during the past few years of incredible upheaval and
change. So we agreed this would be the perfect opportunity to do
some thorough evaluations of the whole church, including all the
various ministries and the staff, to see how we fit into God’s amazing
plans. Therefore, we are asking that everyone who attends here
regularly, 16 years and older, fill out these assessments to help us
check our current status, and then to set new goals for this church.
We will be handing these forms out next Sunday morning after the
service. You can also pick them up at the office, or we can deliver
them to your home, if need be. We kindly ask you to fill them out and
to hand them back to the church office, or directly to the Elder Board,
by October 15, 2021. Thank you.
3. The Mission Board would like to show its appreciation for kids who
attended the Leadership Development Program or worked
at Bible camps during the summer months. Pick up an
application form and fill it out to receive some support for
each week worked at camp. Forms are available at the
church office. Deadline is Sept. 30.
4. WEMMC Bursary Program for Bible School Students: Bursary
Program Applications are available in the church office. Please return
your completed application by Oct. 4.
5. Hi Church Family. I wanted to thank you all for your continued prayer
and support for me here at Youth for Christ. I wanted to update you
all and let you know that I have reached 80% of my support for the
year. This means I can OFFICIALLY start at YFC! My first day was
Tuesday, Sept. 7. I am working on reaching the last 20% of my
support. I wanted to keep you all up to date on where I am at. This
work would not be possible without all of you making this ministry
happen! Praise God! In Christ, Jaden. Text/Call: 431-775-7143.
Email: [email protected]
6. How would you like to have your car washed and detailed, and at the
same time, support the D'Friesen family in their vital
ministry to the many Low German speaking people who
are spiritually hungry and are being blessed by their
ministry? For further questions, or requests, please call
Kathy Blatz at (204) 325-7859 or (204) 362-3617.

Great is Thy Faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.
Chorus
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
Chorus
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Build Your Kingdom Here
Verse 1
Come set Your rule and reign In our hearts again
Increase in us we pray Unveil why we're made
Come set our hearts ablaze with hope
Like wildfire in our very souls
Holy Spirit come invade us now
We are Your church
We need Your pow'r in us
Verse 2
We seek Your kingdom first We hunger and we thirst
Refuse to waste our lives For You're our joy and prize
To see the captives' hearts released
The hurt the sick the poor at peace
We lay down our lives for heaven's cause
We are Your church
We pray revive this earth
Chorus
Build Your kingdom here
Let the darkness fear
Show Your mighty hand
Heal our streets and land
Set Your church on fire
Win this nation back
Change the atmosphere
Build Your kingdom here we pray
Verse 3
Unleash Your kingdom's pow'r
Reaching the near and far
No force of hell can stop
Your beauty changing hearts
You made us for much more than this
Awake the kingdom seed in us
Fill us with the strength and love of Christ
We are Your church
We are the hope on earth
