How do you fit in? Are we where we are supposed to be? Is our focus right? These, and more, are the questions we as Elder Board have been considering during the past few years of incredible upheaval and change. So we agreed this would be the perfect opportunity to do some thorough evaluations of the whole church, including all the various ministries and the staff, to see how we fit into God’s amazing plans. Therefore, we are asking that everyone who attends here regularly, 16 years and older, fill out these assessments to help us check our current status, and then to set new goals for this church. We will be handing these forms out next Sunday morning after the service. You can also pick them up at the office, or we can deliver them to your home, if need be. We kindly ask you to fill them out and to hand them back to the church office, or directly to the Elder Board, by October 15, 2021. Thank you. 3. The Mission Board would like to show its appreciation for kids who attended the Leadership Development Program or worked at Bible camps during the summer months. Pick up an application form and fill it out to receive some support for each week worked at camp. Forms are available at the church office. Deadline is Sept. 30. 4. WEMMC Bursary Program for Bible School Students: Bursary Program Applications are available in the church office. Please return your completed application by Oct. 4. 5. Hi Church Family. I wanted to thank you all for your continued prayer and support for me here at Youth for Christ. I wanted to update you all and let you know that I have reached 80% of my support for the year. This means I can OFFICIALLY start at YFC! My first day was Tuesday, Sept. 7. I am working on reaching the last 20% of my support. I wanted to keep you all up to date on where I am at. This work would not be possible without all of you making this ministry happen! Praise God! In Christ, Jaden. Text/Call: 431-775-7143. Email: [email protected]

Great is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;

There is no shadow of turning with Thee;

Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;

As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Chorus

Great is Thy faithfulness!

Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;

Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,

Sun, moon and stars in their courses above

Join with all nature in manifold witness

To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Chorus

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth

Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,

Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Chorus
