Pheasant is currently designing his own house w

he says, is a showpiece o his own evolution as a

designer. “Designing my own house reects a one

package coordination deal whereby the interiors

reect the exterior. This is the right justice or the pand or my liestyle.”

Pheasant credits his success at what he does an

international identity he was able to create to the

horizons and open mindedness he acquired throu

close contacts and collaborations he was able to h

with his clients. “Collaboration can create wonde

concludes.

What about the inuence o music on his work ?

love music,” he said. “But when I was a child, the

no music and the silence enguled my work and to

serenity still ollows my designs.”

“More than the

comfort, it is the

form that excites

me. Though many

my furniture piecesmay look simple,

they are in reality

 very complicated to

make.”

A living testimony to Pheasant’s unique designs are

evident in the stylish collections o urniture designs

gracing the “Living In” interiors showroom at The Pearl.

“Each piece o urniture I make is a piece o art and a

peace o mind,” he proclaims.

He goes on to describe the process he goes through

as he creates every piece o his designer urniture. “The

process o designing and creating my urniture starts

with moulding and caressing the wood to take its white

leather skin in complete harmony and space,” he said.

“More than the comort, it is the orm that excites me.

Though many o my urniture pieces may look simple,

they are in reality very complicated to make.”

He reers to his designs and urniture as an extension

to his clients’ amily belongings, heritage and

essentials. Then, showing a keen sense o attachmentto his creations, he adds, “It is hard to walk away

rom something that you have created. I put so much

in everything that I make. I sit with a piece o paper

and do the drawings and the entire plan or our or fve

prototypes beore I go into the real one. I work on the

interior with the client, and it is a very complicated mix

o personal relationships and it takes a long time.”
