Friday 20 th July 2pm Strawberry Cream Tea with entertainment by Easington Ukulele Players £4 Thornley: A new Palate Class for beginners: Each Tuesday 11.00am- 12noon at the Thornley Village Centre. No need to book – just come along and enjoy – Entrance £3.50. All welcome!! Ushaw Flower Festival takes place this June and we’d love you to come along and enjoy some of the fantastic displays that will enhance the already stunning environment at Ushaw. Parishes and groups from all over the North East have worked really hard to create wonderful displays celebrating 450 years since the foundation of Douai College (Ushaw’s predecessor) These marvellous arrangements will have to be seen to be appreciated. 12 th -17 th June 2018. 11am – 5pm. Over thirty stunning displays in a glorious setting. To book call 0191 334 5119. Diocesan Festival 2018: Coming Face to Face with Christ “Encounter”. With talks on the theme of encounter from Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow OBE, Sr. Judith Russi and Sara Bryson featuring More than Dance, including activities for families, children and young people, Mass, music, marketplace, adoration, ceilidh and much more. Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June 2018 Emmaus Youth Village, Consett. £20 per person (inc both days) or £5 for Sunday only. Under 18s free.
