ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JULY,AUGUST & SEPTEMBER– 2015

Activities in School K.G: 14.08.2015 With an objective to orient children of KG to the Flag of our country freedom

Struggle etc., dramatization was planned. A simple story depicting freedom struggle was narrated.

28.08.2015 The school bore a festive look with Torans and activities for Rakshabandhan celebration.

31.08.2015 “Magic Show” was arranged for KG & Std. I students. 04.09.2015 It was a wonderful experience for the children to witness Dahi-Handi on

Janmashtami Celebration.

08.09.2015 Students of Std. VIII came as teachers in K.G Section to celebrate a

appreciate teachers.

21.09.2015 Lord Ganesh was welcomed, worshipped and celebrated by little ones. All children were treated with delicious ‘Prasad’ for seven days.

21.09.2015 International Peace Day was celebrated by UKG Children a rally in the school campus was taken out & children wore white pigeon headgear.

Activities in School Primary: 07.07.2015 Election for the Prefect Council was held to form the council for the current

academic year.

14.07.2015 2 teams from Std. VII & VIII participated in the Heritage Quiz organised by the Navrachana School.

14.07.2015 Pedilite representative gave a demonstration on embossing, shadow work & various other art techniques to the students during the assembly.

16.07.2015 A combined team of Students & Parents of Std. V to VIII participated in the Quiz Competition : Dell Champs organised by the Dell. Ma. Harshit Arora and Ma. Ansh Pandya were selected to represent the school at the city level.

21.07.2015 Ms. Saloni Mahajan from Scholastic Books shared her views on reading tips & its importance in the assembly with the students of Std. III to VIII.

23.07.2015 Documentary on the Role of Police & People’s Safety was shown to the

students of Std. VIII.

26.07.2015 629 Students from Std. I to VIII participated in the Procom Quiz Contest held

in the school. 28.07.2015 The Prefect Council Members took Oath & were given batches/sashes by

the Principal. 29.07.2015 Best out of waste activity was conducted for the students of Std. III to VIII.

The students came out with their best innovative & creative artefacts. 11 students from Std. VIII appeared in the Test administed by the Leaads organisation.

31.07.2015 All the students from Std. VI to VIII participated in the Ist phase of the written exam conducted by IIT, Ashram.

04.08.2015 Navneet Art Competition was conducted in the school for std III to VIII

during school hours.

11.08.2015 (i)Students of std III to VIII participated in the Patriotic song competition .

(ii)School Round of WWF was organized during school hours. 4 students qualified for the Second Round.

22.08.2015 & 23.08.2015

(i) Rocket Modeling Workshop was held for students of std III to VIII. (ii) The first General Body Meeting was held in the school for the parents.

25.08.2015 Rakhi making competition was conducted in the school for the students of Std. III to VIII.

31.08.2015 Students of std II to VIII participated in the Camlin Art Competition during school hours.

04.09.2015 Ms. Lena Patil-Dy.Commissioner of Police visited our school to get feedback from the parents of SPC Cadets on the newly introduced programme.

Out of School Activities KG: 21.08.2015 Inculcating good manners and habits is the need of the hour. Models, songs,

stories, drama, rampwalk were presented at V.M.Patel Hall of Excellence-Alkapuri by children. Parents of the participants attented the event.

09.09.2015 Field Trip to “Hindola Darshan” at Karelibaug was an exciting event for the little ones.

22.09.2015 Children visited Laxmi Vilas Palace for Ganesh Darshan.

Out of School Activities Primary: 04.07.2015 3 students of Std. VIII participated in the Creative Writing Workshop

organised by Bal Bhavan. 05.07.2015 Students of Std. V to VIII participated in the online digital quiz competition

organised by the Government. 11.07.2015 Students from Std. VIII the prefect Council members were oriented about

Leadership and initiative by Leaads.

13.07.2015 Mr. Digant Joshi oriented the students of Std. VI to VIII on Aero Modelling in the assembly.

21.07.2015 4 teams represented the school from Stds. VII & VIII in the Bournvita Quiz Contest organised at Sayajinagar Gruh.

08.08.2015 & 09.08.2015

1) Prerna activities were conducted at MSU Faculty of Engineering & Technology. Our students were Runners up in ‘Kick & Rush’ Activity (Football). Three students secured second position in ‘T-Shirt painting competition’. The team was awarded with a cash price of Rs 600/- and vouchers of Rs 500/- . They have made us proud!!! 2) Our student Ma. Vedant Trivedi participated in the elocution competition in Little Flower School.

21.08.2015 Four students from std VII & VIII were taken around Vadodara by Nalanda International school as a part of ‘Vadodara Heritage’ competition.

22.08.2015 Our students participated in various activities in the competitions held in Nalanda International School. (Details given below): Calligraphy competition – std. VII-Ms. Mrunali Nampurkar won consolation prize. Drama Competition- std II, III & IV-eight students participated. Model making competition- std VII & VIII four students participated.

03.09.2015 Students participated in the first Round of Geeta Chanting at BHS ONGC. Four students qualified for the Second Round.

09.09.2015 Students of Std I & II went for Hindola Darshan at Karelibaug during school hours.

11.09.2015 Our students secured First prize in the Singing competition conducted by Bharat Vikas Parishad. Mr Jaydeep Behre, our music teacher was also awarded ‘The Best music composer.’ They have made us proud once again!!!!

Out of School Activities Primary (Sports): 10.07.2015 Base Ball Under-14 Boys & Girls were declared Champions in the District

Sports Office Tournament. 15.07.2015 Hand Ball Under-14 Boys were declared Champions in the District Sports

Office Tournament. 15.07.2015 Kho-Kho & Kabaddi Under-14 Boys, 2 boys were selected in both games

for State Level in the District Sports Office Tournament. 16.07.2015 Kho-Kho Under-14 Girls, 2 Girls were selected for State Level in the District

Sports Office Tournament.

16.07.2015 Basket Ball Under-14 Boys, 2 Boys were selected for State Level in the District Sports Office Tournament.

17.07.2015 Volley Ball Under-17 Boys were declared Champions in the District Sports Office Tournament.

20.07.2015 Rope Skipping, 6 Players were selected for State Level in the District Sports Office Tournament.

Meeting & Workshop : K.G & Primary:

19.09.2015 Ms. Chitra Phadke and Ms. Rizwana Jamshed presented a paper on innovative methods of teaching organised by “Udaan” at New Era School-Nizampura.

25.07.2015 The Principal & the Supervisors attended the orientation programme on RTE organised at the Trust Office.

05.08.2015 Ms Dipti Golani attended a workshop for girls of Secondary Section on ‘Good Touch & Bad Touch .’ It was conducted in the school.

07.08.2015 Ms Girja Mistry presented a lesson plan for Social Studies on the topic- ‘Colonization & Tribal Societies’ at BHS Alkapuri in the A V Room.

22.08.2015 Ms Neerja Chauhan presented a lesson plan for Science on the topic- ‘Refraction’ in BHS Bagikhana.

22.07.2015 Soft Ball Under-14 Girls were declared Champions in the District Sports Office Tournament.

31.07.2015 Swimming Under-14, A Girl was selected for the State Level in the District Sports Office Tournament.

01.08.2015 Langadi Under-14, 2 Boys & 2 Girls were selected for State Level in the District Sports Office Tournament.

04.08.2015 Hockey Under-14, 4 Boys were selected for the State Level in the District Sports Office Tournament.

09.08.2015 Foot Ball Under-14 Boys & Girls were declared Runners Up in the District Sports Officer Tournament.

10.08.2015 Volley Ball Under-17 Boys were declared Runners Up in the District Sports Officer Tournament.

22.08.2015 Athletics for Under-14 & 17, Girls & Boys was conducted as part of District Officer Tournament.

24.09.2015 Hand Ball Under-14 Boys, 3 Boys were selected for National Level in the District Sports Office Tournament.

24.09.2015 Basket Ball Under-14 Boys were declared Champions in the District Sports Office Tournament.
