ANNIVERSARIES
July 9th - PENN HILLS TUESDAY BACK TO
BASICS will have their annual 4th of July
picnic. Food and fellowship at 6:00pm with
meeting at 7:00pm. Bring your lawn chair and
something to share.
July 16th – Mayfair AC/AFG will celebrate
their anniversary. Food and fellowship at
7:00pm, meeting at 8:00pm. All are welcome,
bring a dish to share. Meet in Fellowship Hall.
July 17th – CRANBERRY WEDNESDAY
NIGHT AFG will celebrate their anniversary
with food and fellowship at 5:30pm and
speaker at 6:30pm. Covered dishes welcome.
July 25th – UNDERSTANDING OURSELVES
will celebrate their 5th Anniversary. Food and
fellowship at 6:00pm with both Al-Anon and AA
speakers at 7:00pm. Please join us!
July 28th – BURGETTSTOWN SUNDAY
NIGHT will be celebrate their 6th Anniversary
with pot luck dinner at 6:00pm with AA/Al-Anon
speakers at 7:00pm. See flyer for more
details.
Aug 17th – FRIENDS OF LOIS will be
celebrating their 1st Anniversary. Fellowship
at 10:30am, speaker at 11:00am. Brunch
items welcome.
Sept. 17th – NORTH HILLS AFG will celebrate
their 54th Anniversary. Food and fellowship
at 6:30pm and speaker at 7:30pm. Covered
dishes welcome.

KEY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Announcements 1. Announcements pertaining to new, disbanded and
permanent meeting time or location changes WILL NOT be placed in The Key unless they are properly processed
using a WSO Al-Anon Registration- Group Change Form
(GR-1). Group Changes require a GR-1 Form signed by
the District Representative. The District Representative will forward the form to: AIS & STATE, AIS will
forward to: KEY EDITOR, MEETING LIST CHAIR and
SECRETARY, STATE will forward to WSO. 2. The Key will be mailed to the name on file at the local AIS Office. Any changes must be submitted to the AIS
Office using the "ISR Change Form". This form can be
mailed to the AIS Office or SCANNED & EMAILED to:
AIS will forward to KEY EDITOR and SECRETARY. 3. Announcements pertaining to Al-Ateen must be
accompanied by the Group ID. 4. Submit items by the 10th of the month
for the next month’s issue of The Key. 5. Send written notice to: [email protected] or the AIS Office.
Flyers: E-mail a PDF of the flyer to [email protected]. We will have them printed and folded for The Key
mailing. Cost: $13.50 for single sided flyers
$25 for double sided flyers
(Black & White Copies Only Please)
Make checks payable to: AIS of Greater Pittsburgh
Area, Inc. to cover postage and/or printing costs.
Include a copy of the flyer with your check.

It can be humbling to discover that, though
we have to do our part, we remain
powerless to eliminate our defects by
ourselves. Therefore we take the Seventh
Step and ask for the help of our Higher
Power. Many of us have found such prayer
to be one of Al-Anon’s most effective
recovery tools. Even if we have struggled
with the idea of a Higher Power, we have
learned that asking for help works, no
matter how much we may have doubted.
