Butter Cream 1. ½ cups shortening 2. ½ cups butter , softened3. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract4. 4 cups confectioner sugar5. 2 tablespoon milk

Steps!In a large bowl, cream together the butter,

shortening, and vanilla. Next blend in the sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Finally beat in the milk and continue mixing until light and fluffy.

Fondant16 ounces white mini-marshmallows

2 to 5 tablespoons water2 pounds icing sugar½ cup Crisco shortening

Steps!Melt marshmallows and 2 tablespoons of water in a

microwave or a double boiler. To microwave place the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds, open microwave and stir, back in microwave for 30 seconds more, open it and stir again, and continue doing this until melted. It usually takes about 2 ½ minutes total.

Place ¾ of the powdered sugar on top of melted marshmallow mix.

Now grease your hands GENEROUSLY , then heavily grease the counter you will be using and dump the bowl of marshmallows/sugar mixture in the middle. Mix it all together until it looks nice and soft. Finally roll it flat like pie dough and put it on your cake.
