Full or Partial IB????

• “Full IB” students seek the IB Diploma. This means they complete course work and take exit exams in a minimum of six specific areas plus complete the EE, TOK, and CAS.

• “Partial IB” students do not wish to complete the diploma. They may still take individual courses, take the exams, and receive certificates for each course; however, with the exception of JMU, most colleges accept HL courses only.

Dual Enrollment• Taking dual enrolled classes means that a student

will receive both high school and college credit.• Students pay only part of the tuition to get credit,

and SCS pay the rest.• Students MUST apply to take the classes and pay

for their part of the tuition in order to receive college credit.

• Scholarships are available.• Many of the courses offered in the IB program

also provide dual enrolled credit.• After paying the tuition each semester, students

must make a grade of C or better in order for the dual enrolled class to transfer.
