STORY SO FAR: Recently, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. uncovered a series of
impossibly ancient, mysterious towers,each containing a cosmic
entity that, once awakened, seems bent on punishing debased
civilizations like our
own. T.H.U.N.D.E.R. is now engaged in a race to locate and
secure these powerful artifacts before any nefarious organization
can take custody. Director Kane turned day-to-day operation of the
squad over toNoMan and undertook an intensive and dangerous study
of the Towers. She seemed to gain a deeper understanding of their
cryptic purpose, but soon suffered a complete mental and physical
shutdown.
Meanwhile, on a mission to subdue rampaging robot dinosaurs in
Manhattan, Dynamo was abducted andwhisked away to a war-torn
country in South America known as Zaffinia. NoMan mounts a
rescue...
