Ο Θυρεός έλκοντας την καταγωγή του από το Βυζάντιο καταγράφηκε ιστορικά την εποχή της ∆´ Σταυροφορίας (1248).

through the development of activities regarding Art and Literature.
This purpose is solely intellectual, cultivating,
educational and artistic, and in no case whatsoever speculative.

α) η δηµιουργία Ινστιτούτου Τεχνώνόπου θα µελετώνται οι εκφράσεις του ελ-ληνικού πολιτισµού µε χρονική συνέχειααπό την αρχαιό τητα έως σήµερα, οι επι-δράσεις µε άλλους πολιτι σµούς κα θώςκαι οι επιρροές στην σύγχρονη τέχνη.
β) η δηµιουργία Ερευνητικού Κέντρουγια την αναδηµιουργία ιδιαιτέρως ευαί-σθητων Μουσειακών Εκθεµάτων, τωνοποίων η µορφοποίηση ήταν έως τώρααδύνατη µε παραδοσιακές µεθόδους.
γ) η δηµιουργία κέντρων εφαρµογώνγια την υλοποίηση των ερευνητικώναποτελεσµάτων, των ανωτέρω ερευνώνκαι εφαρµογών.
δ) η δηµιουργία Μουσειακών χώρωνόπου θα φιλοξενούνται τα αποτελέσµα τατης προαναφερθείσας ερευνητικής δρα-στηριότητος έτσι ώστε να παρουσιάζεταιολοκληρωµένα η συνέχεια του ΑρχαίουΕλληνικού και Βυζαντινού Πολι τι -σµού.
ε) η ψηφιακή τρισδιάστατη απεικόνισητων αµιγώς αρχαιολογικών χώρων στηνπρωτογενή τους µορφή και ταυτόχρονηαντιστοίχηση µε τα ευρήµατα.
στ) η επιδίωξη, µέσω των µελετών καιδραστηριοτήτων του ερευνητικού κέν-τρου, της ένταξης σε προγράµµατα συν-τήρησης των µνηµείων που χρήζουνάµεσης διάσωσης και διατήρησης, κα -θώς και η συµµετοχή και συµβολή σταπρογράµµατα συν τή ρησης αυτών.
ζ) η οργάνωση εκθέσεων και παρουσιά-σεων των συλλογών στην Ελλάδα καιστο Εξωτερικό.
η) η οργάνωση συνεδρίων, ηµερίδων,εκδηλώσεων και συναυλιών για την πα-ρουσίαση και προβολή των στοιχείωντου Ελληνικού Πολιτισµού.
θ) η θέσπιση Πολιτισµικών Βραβείωνκαι Προγραµ µάτων Υποτροφιών προςΈλληνες, Έλληνες της διασποράς, πολί-τες χωρών της Ε.Ε και άλλων χωρών.
ι) η δηµιουργία και συστηµατοποίησητης σχετικής µε τα ανωτέρω βιβλιογρα-φίας σε έντυπη και ψηφιακή µορφή (έκ-δοση βιβλίων, καταλόγων, λευκωµάτωνκαι στοιχειοθέτηση ερευνητικών αποτε-λεσµάτων).
ια) η συνεργασία, ανταλλαγή απόψεωνκαι η διασταύρωση στοιχείων µε άλλαΜουσεία στην Ελλάδα και το Εξωτερικό.
ιβ) η διακρατική συνεργασία µε αντίστοι-χους φορείς της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, τωνΜεσογειακών χωρών και της Βαλκανικής.
ιγ) η συµµετοχή σε προγράµµατα διµε-ρούς κρατικής αναπτυξιακής συνεργα-σίας και βοηθείας της Ελλάδας µε χώρες,στις οποίες δραστηριοποιείται η Οµογέ-νεια και οι Ελ λη νορθόδοξες Εκκλησίεςκαι Πατριαρχεία, καθώς και µε ανα πτυσ- σόµενες όπως Βαλκανικές, Παρευξεί-νειες, Μεσογειακές και άλλες χώρες τηςΑφρικής και της Ασίας.
Ειδικότερα, για την πραγµάτωση του σκοπού αυτού θα αναπτυχθούν από την εταιρεία, µεταξύ των άλλων,
οι εξής δραστηριότητες:

1) The creation of an Ιnstitute of Arts,where the faces of Greek culture shallbe studied, from the ancient times untiltoday; this Academy shall include aSchool of Hagiography, as well as aSchool of Byzantine Music. 2) The constitution of a Research Cen-tre for re-creations of the most sensitivemuseum exhibits, the formations ofwhich was impossible till now by usualtechniques.3) The creation of application centresin order to implement the research re-sults, the above researches and applica-tions.4) The creation of Museum areas wherethe true copies shall be placed, alongwith the transformations and the appli-cations of the originals; the continuanceof the Ancient Greek and Byzantine Cul-ture shall be presented in an holisticmanner.5) The digital 3-dimensional presenta-tion of the pure ancient sites, in theiroriginal form.6) The effort, through studies and activ-ities performed by the research centre, tointegrate in preservation programs themonuments that require immediate res-cue and preservation, as well as the par-ticipation and contribution to theirpreservation programs.
7) The organization of exhibitions andpresentations of the collections of theabove copies in Greece and abroad.
8) The organization of congresses, one-day conferences, events and concerts forthe presentation and promotion of the el-ements of Greek Culture.
9) The establishment of Cultural Awardsand Scholarship Programs for Greeks,Greeks abroad, E.U. citizens and aliens.
10) The creation and systemization ofthe relative literature (issuing of books,catalogues, albums, and the classifica-tion of research results).
11) The cooperation, exchange of viewsand the cross-checking of elements withother Museums in Greece and abroad.
12) The inter-state cooperation with re-spective bodies of the European Union,Mediterranean countries and of theBalkan region.
13) The participation in programs of bi-lateral state development cooperationand aid between of Greece and mainlydeveloping countries, such as countriesfrom the Balkans, Black Sea, Mediter-ranean and other countries of Africa andAsia, as well as countries in which theOmogenia (Greeks living abroad),Greek-Orthodox Churches and the Pa-triarchates are active.
In particular, for the realization of this purpose, the following activities shall be developed by the company,
among others:

Hσυµµετοχή της εταιρείας, πλην των άλλων, θα εντάσσεται κυρίως σεπολιτιστικά προγράµ µατα που ειδικότερα θα αφορούν: α) δράσεις για τηνενδυνάµωση πολιτιστικών θεσµών και ανάπτυξη πολιτιστικών σχέσεων, β)αποτύπωση, σχεδιασµό αναστηλώσεων και ανακα τασκευές ιστορικών µνηµείων.
Προς τούτο η εταιρεία θα συνεργάζεται µε τα αρµόδια Υπουργεία της Ελλάδος, η δευλοποίηση των προγραµµάτων αυτών και έργων αναπτυξιακής συνεργασίας θα είναισυµβατή µε τις γενικές και ειδικές διατάξεις και οδηγίες που έχουν θεσπιστεί από την Ε.Ε.
The participation of the company, among others, shall mainly refer to subjectsand programs of culture. In particular to: a) actions for the improvement ofcultural institutions and the development of cultural relations, and b) recording,planning of renovations and reconstructions of historical monuments.
To this end, the company shall cooperate with the qualified Ministries of Greece, whilethe implementation of these programs and projects of development cooperation shallbe compatible with the general and special clauses and directives set by the E.U.

Το ∆ιοικητικό Συµβούλιο της Αστικής µη Κερδοσκοπικής Εταιρείας «ΘΥΡΕΟΣ»Συνήλθε σήµερα µε θέµα τη συνεργασία της εταιρείας «ΘΥΡΕΟΣ» µεάλλους φορείς και ιδρύµατα και αποφάσισε να συνεργαστεί µεοργανισµούς, ιδρύµατα, µη κυβερνητικές και µη κερδοσκοπικέςοργανώσεις που έχουν σκοπό την δηµιουργία µουσείων και την επιστροφήµνηµείων και αρχαιοτήτων στους τόπους καταγωγής των. Επίσης ναυποστηρίξει ενεργά την επιστροφή των Γλυπτών του Παρθενώνα καθώςαποτελούν αναπόσπαστα τµήµατα του κορυφαίου αρχιτεκτονήµατος. Ο «ΘΥΡΕΟΣ» φιλοδοξεί µε αυτόν τον τρόπο να συµβάλλει στηνανάδειξη των µοναδικών µορφών Τέχνης που λειτουργούν σανσύµβολα και µαρτυρίες της ιστορίας των λαών.

The administrative Council Of the Not-for-Profit Company “THYREOS”Assembled today to discuss on the subject of the collaboration of itscompany “THYREOS” with other institutions and organisations and itdecided to collaborate with organisations, institutions, not governmentaland not-for-profit initiatives that aim at the creation of museums andthe return of monuments and antiquities in their places of origin. It willalso support actively the return of the Sculptures of Parthenon whichconstitute an integral part of the architectural masterpiece. “THYREOS” aspires in this way to contribute in the elevation andprominence of unique forms of Art that function as symbols andtestimonies of the history of people.

BBooaarrdd ooff DDiieeccttoorrssThe Board of Directors is comprised of five (5) members, the hairwomanincluded. The current defines as the Chairwoman of the company one ofthe company members, Ms Vasiliki Theodorakidi, for the entirecompany duration.
The other two members of the Board are elected by the GeneralAssembly, through absolute majority among its members, and shall havea ten-year tenure. For the first ten years, the members of the Board of

Le Conseil d’Administration décide pour tout sujet qui concerne les activités de la société, à part ceux qui appartiennent ã l’Assemblée Générale des parties, selon la loi ou le statut.
Le Président et Directeur Exécutif du Conseil d’Administration représente la société auprès de l’état, des tribunaux et de toute autre autorité, de la banque, des personnes physiques ou légales de droit public/de droit privé. Il conclut toute sorte de contrat pour la société qui a un rapport avec ses objectifs, il retire des prêts, des subventions et des financements de toute nature et pour le bénéfice de la société, il enterprend et licencie des employés et des associés et il mène toute action administrative.
Il convoque l’Assemblée Générale et le Conseil d’Administration suivant le statut et il détermine l’ordre du jour du Conseil d’Administration et de l’Assemblée Générale.
L’Assemblée Générale siège au bureau de la société quand ceci est nécessaire après invitation du Président ou de deux membres. En plus, elle peut siéger ailleurs,
en dehors du bureau, si les conditions l’obligent. Les membres du Conseil, quand ils ne peuvent pas être présents à l’Assemblée, peuvent être représentés par un autre membre du Conseil d’Administration, tant qu’ils lui procurent un document de notaire ou un document privé avec une date et une signature certifiée par la police ou par une autre autorité compétente, mentionnant le sujet de l’ordre du jour de l’Assemblée pendant laquelle ils ne pourront pas se présenter, mais aussi leur opinion à propos des sujets de l’ordre du jour, que le représentant devra suivre à la lettre.
Les décisions du Conseil d’Administration seront prises à la majorité absolue des membres.
En plus, le Président présente le budget et les résultats de toute action.Il fait en sorte que les livres de la société sont en ordre et il s’occupe de tout problème d’ordre fiscal.
