AVAILABILITY AND SPECIFICATION OF CERTIFICATES

The certificates (certifications) listed above may not be applicable to all Invensys/Foxboro products developed and manufactured by the Invensys/Foxboro business unit of Invensys. Therefore, only certificates applicable to a particular product are offered. For example, a Weight Certificate or a Cleaning Certificate are not necessary where weight is not an issue, or cleaning is not required by the process. The certificates appropriate to a particular product will be identified within the Model Code (ordering code) of that product, or separately identified with an Invensys/Foxboro Auxiliary Specification (AS) Number. In either situation, the certificate identification for the customer is simplified, and as stated previously, the selection is optional.

Unless otherwise noted on the customer's Sales Order, the Certificate(s) will normally be packaged with the instrument in the shipping container(s).

The attached certificates are representative examples and include minimum fields. Actual certificates may vary slightly.

DESCRIPTION OF CERTIFICATES

CERT-A - Certificate of Compliance

The certificate states that the instrument is in compliance with Invensys/Foxboro published documentation.

CERT-A is signed and dated by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-B - Certificate of Conformance

(Only for Non-Project Orders)

NOTEFor “Project Orders” a Cert “A” should be ordered.

The certificate states that the technical/quality portion of the customer’s purchase order has been reviewed by Quality Engineering, and that the instrument is in conformance with the customer’s technical purchase order requirements, as well as Invensys/Foxboro documentation.

CERT-B is signed and dated by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-C - Material Certificate - Non-Specific - BS

EN 10204 2.1

The certificate lists the instrument process wetted metallic parts by material, part number, and description of piece part. It also states that Invensys/Foxboro can provide other evidence of conformance/compliance. Traceability to individual heat numbers is not available and the non-specific material certificates are not supplied. This certificate does not include resale options such as seals and bypass manifolds.

CERT-C is signed and dated by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-D - Material Certificate - BS EN 10204 3.1

Specific Certificates of Material Test Report Analysis, for process wetted metal components, are attached. This certificate does not include resale options such as seals and bypass manifolds.

CERT-D is signed and dated by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-E - Calibration Certificate

A certificate that shows calibration data or states that the units were tested and accepted to a specific test procedure(s), and when applicable includes a statement that the calibration test equipment used is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

NOTES1. NIST statements, when supplied separately

from calibration test reports, must betraceable to the specific sales order.

2. Test/Calibration formats may vary per productline specifications.

CERT-E is signed and dated by the appropriate Manufacturing Supervisor or qualified personnel.

CERT-F - Certificate of Pressure Test

The certificate states that the instrument has been pressure tested at 1.5 times the maximum working pressure for a minimum of one minute, or as required per standard without leaks and for PED 10 minutes without leaks.

CERT-F is signed and dated by the appropriate Manufacturing Supervisor or qualified personnel.

CERT-G - Certificate of Cleaning

The certificate states that the instrument has been specially degreased, cleaned for oxygen service, cleaned for chlorine service, etc., to minimize contaminants to the end user's process, with special tagging and packaging per Invensys/Foxboro Cleaning Standard CES 260.

NOTEThe cleaning option (Auxiliary Specification OS-W-2, OS-FC-2, CLS-2, etc.) must be added to the base instrument.

CERT-G is signed and dated by the appropriate Manufacturing Supervisor or qualified personnel.

CERT-H - Weight Certificate

The certificate lists the unpackaged weight, in kilograms, of each instrument, including the weight of any attached or attachable accessory shipped with the instrument.

CERT-H is signed and dated by the appropriate Manufacturing Supervisor or qualified personnel.

CERT-I - SASO Certificate

Certificate of conformity in execution of SASO (Saudi Arabia Standards Organization) Board of Directors' Decision No. 58, dated 1405 (H)-09-17 and SASO SSA 16, 17, 18 and 86.

CERT-I is stamped and notarized by the local Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Approval, and is signed and dated by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-J - Electrical Agency Certificate

Copy of approval paperwork received from the approving or certifying agency (FM, CSA, CENELEC, etc.) showing approval numbers and cover sheet.

CERT-J is issued by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-K - Certificate of Compliance with NACE

Standard MR0175/ISO 15156-3 and MR0103

The certificate states that the instrument meets NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-3 and MR0103.

CERT-K is signed and dated by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-L - System Integrity Level (SIL2) Declaration

of Conformity (Applies to RTT15-T Only)

This declaration of conformity states that the listed model has been assessed to applicable IEC 61508 requirements in support of SIL2 applications and lists the key SIL parameters.

CERT-L is issued by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-M - Positive Material Identification (PMI) for

Process Wetted Materials

This certification states that the process wetted material on this order is in conformance with the applicable ASTM standards.

Testing is provided in-house at the Invensys/Foxboro facility using a non-destructive x-ray reflective analysis (XRF) analyzer (Bruker S1 Turbo).

CERT-M is signed and dated by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-N - Positive Material Identification (PMI) for

Pressure Containment Materials

This certification states that the pressure containment material on this order is in conformance with the applicable ASTM standards.

This certification is applicable for instruments shipped to Russia. The format is supplied by the Invensys/Russia sales office.

CERT-R is signed by the appropriate Area Supervisor.

CERT-S - TUV System Integrity Level (SIL2-TUV)

The certificate is applicable for the I/A Series Single Range HART Transmitters (IAP..-T, IDP..-T, and IGP..-T). Attached with the certificate are the TUV certificate, stating the transmitter is suitable for safety related applications up to SIL2 (IEC 61508:1998-2000), and the Invensys/Foxboro Functional Safety Datasheet.

CERT-S - TUV is issued by the appropriate Quality Engineer or other qualified personnel.

CERT-W - ASME Weld Certificate

This certificate states that all welds produced at Invensys/Foxboro on this order were performed in accordance with ASME Section IX of the boiler code.

CERT-W is signed and dated by the appropriate Section Leader, Supervisor, or Welding Engineer.
