1992 Clear antagonistic lyrics by bands such as N.W.A interpreted as encouraging violence against authorities. Early 90s Rap Music was seen to be at its scariest in the eyes of the media; irate, hedonistic, belligerent. 90s classed as Golden Years of Hip Hop music. 1990 2Pac joins Digital Underground as a dancer and a roadie. 1996 - 24-year oldSnoop Doggand his bodyguard McKinley Lee are acquitted of the murder of Philip Woldemariam, a 20-year-old Ethiopian immigrant gunned down in August 1993.

2000 Eminem releases his first significant breakthrough Album in the Hip Hop/Rap genre. 2001 Audience culture in Performance venues developed around Hip Hop dance displays. In the last decade, artists such as Jay-Z have given a new spin on the Hip Hop genre, followed by (more recently) Drake, Kanye West and Nicki Minaj to name a few. 2007 Diversity first audition for Britains Got Talent 2014 Annual B-Town Throwdown Hip Hop event reaches record numbers.
