Timetabling The Ultimate Guide To Finding Your Timetables
One of my priori,es for the year has been campaigning for students to be able to gain access to their ,metables
6 weeks before the beginning of the semester. I am really pleased that we have managed to do this and hopefully this will make it much easier for those with
part ,me jobs.
Finding your ,metable for next year is really simple
It consists of 3 simple steps
Intro
Find your module codes 1 Use them the search through the system 2
Build your timetable 3
To Access your full timetable you first need to make sure that you have your module codes ready!
To Access these visit www.courses.hull.ac.uk 1
Session: 13/14 Search: Select Programmes Search by Keyword or Course Code Location: Select Campus Department: Select School Hit Search!
Make Note of the 6 digit code course
code
Scroll through the list and find your course
and click on it
.
Scroll down to Programme Structure
Here you can note down your module codes from the list of modules available
Remember
Only select the modules you have chosen to study
Exceptions to the rule If you are a first year student, direct entrant, or studying a foundation degree, you will be able to make a note of the Core Modules, but you will have to wait until you arrive to select your choices or free electives. if you are a continuing student and don’t know what your modules you are taking, you can find out at: myadmin.hull.ac.uk Simply log in using your user ID and password
Once you have your module codes on hand visit
timetabling.hull.ac.uk
Or go straight to http://sweb-vm.adir.hull.ac.uk/swsHull1314/default.aspx

Select Modules
You may find it easier to search by programme if you don’t have many
modules
Type your module code into Filter and click enter It should appear in Select Module(s) – select it.
Select Week Range: Select All Weeks Select Days: All Days You can then chose either a Grid Timetable or List Timetable Select View Timetable
You will be presented with the following pop up
(you may have to turn off your pop up blocker or ctrl and click at the same time) 3
The activity is shown, L stands for Lecture and S for Seminar. The Building is shown as the first two letter so LA is Larkin. You can find the rest of the codes at the end
Tutorial Groups At this stage you will also be able to see all tutorial groups for this module, you will be assigned to one group by your department, you cannot dictate which group this will be. Departments should communicate which Tutorial Groups you are in within 2 weeks.
Please note Week 10 is the week commencing the 30th September
You should repeat this process for each module until you have your full timetable
Any changes will be communicated to you via
your department
