If you win a ro

.
You can reuse
any utensils, whether you s
tarted with them, or won the
m in the game.
You can't play a utensil if yo
u don't have one in your sta
sh.
The winner is the player with
the most utensils when the t
oast pops up,
and gets to keep the toast.
One of you is the Tea Keeper. You turn the three mugs upsidedown, and secretly put the teabag beneath one of them. The other gets to point at a mug three times, and ask: 'Is there a teabag under this mug?'. The Tea Keeper has to respond and over the three questions they have to
tell the truth twice, but lie once. After the three questions, the Questioner turns over one mug. If it's got a teabag, they win (and the Tea Keeper makes them a nice mug of tea). If it doesn't, they lose and get nothing but a mug of hot water. If you'd like, play a few times and keep track. The person with the highest score overall gets
the tea at the end.
A game for two people, three mugs and a teabag.
TEA CARD MONTE

KNIFE FORK SPOON
Take a look around the room
, where could you hide?
Player one should whisper th
eir potential hiding place to
player two.
If player two agrees they cou
ld hide behind the door, then
they should say to the others
'Yes, I believe
you can hide behind the door
'.
Player two now has to whispe
r a hiding place that's not be
en used before to player thre
e, and so on.
Keep going round until some
one whispers a hiding place t
hat's improbable. If you don
't think they
can hide in the microwave, ch
allenge them and say 'I don't
think you can hide there'.
All the players who don't kno
w where the hiding place is s
hould leave the room and co
me back
once the player has attempt
ed to hide in the space they c
laimed they could hide in.
If, when they come back into
the room, they can't see wh
ere the player is hiding with
in 5 seconds,
that player wins the game.
If it's quite obvious as all the
y could fit in the microwave w
as their foot, that
player is out.
To start with, agree on an object or a landmark eg. the Eiffel Tower, say,
or a teacup; anything you like.On the count of three, both call out a comparative adjective a word like 'bigger' or 'fluffier' or
'uglier' or 'meaner', anything you like. You now have to race to think of something that is both of those things, when compared to your
beginning object. For example, something that is bigger and fluffier than a teacup. Whoever thinks of something first gets a point. Now play again, using this new object as your starting point, and picking two new adjectives,
and so on.
The first player to five points is the winner.
A conversation game for two superlative players.
FLUFFIER THAN A TEACUP
A game for three or more sn
eaky players.I CAN HIDE TH
ERE
To begin the game, both pla
yers pick a twig.
Hold your twig with two hand
s so that it crosses over with
the other player's twig
Then on the count of three, b
oth pull your twig towards y
ou!
If your twig snaps, you lose.
But don't worry, just find ano
ther twig and play again...
Sit around a table and secretly write down the name of the person whose drink you want to end
up with, and the name of the person who should end up with your drink. Set a timer for 30 seconds and start playing.Moving clockwise around the table, take it in turns to dictate where the glasses should move
to, with the following commands:PASS LEFT Everyone passes their drink to the leftPASS RIGHT Everyone passes their drink to the rightSWAP [NAME OF PLAYER] You swap your drink with the named player
When the timer rings, stop playing. You get a point if you end up with the drink you chose, andanother if your drink ends up with the right person. The first player to five points wins.
A game for four drinking buddies.
