Titanium

Titanium was discovered in England by William Gregor in 1791. It is a metallic-white lustrous element, very lightweight with the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, ductile, corrosion resistant and temperature stable. Because of its complicated extraction process this pre-cious metal is twenty times as expensive as steel. The specially manufactured precision thickness titanium tubes give all JuCad titanium trolleys their maximal sturdiness at minimal weight.

Highest quality special purity alloyed stainless steel with its elegant surface sheen, known as V2A steel, is extremely strong. The outstanding physical charac-teristics and high corrosion resistance of this material make it specially suitable for the construction of the elegant and robust JuCad golf trolleys.

Strictly speaking carbon fiber-reinforced polymer, CFP for short, is a compound material in which several layers of carbon fibres are layered in a matrix of synthetic polymers. High strength at low weight are the hallmark of CFP without which modern Formula 1 racing would today be unthinkable. Our computers employ the latest lamination theory programs geared specially for the stress requirements arising on golf courses.

This German company develops and manufactures tubular bending systems of the highest order since 1980 for use world-wide in

industry and commerce. This accumulated expertise is reflected in the concept and manufacture of the exclusive JuCad golf trolleys.

The successful family firm is now in the hands of the second generation owners – daughter Kira and her husband Jörg Jung, Diplom-

Ingenieur MBA – offering optimal solutions for the discerning golfer.

Company founder Werner Jungmann, himself a passionate golfer, began in 1988 to apply his tubular bending technology to the design

and construction of elegant and small-folding golf trolleys with 3-spoke wheels. Their refined form distilled to its absolute essentials

providing maximal ease of use characterise the by now classic JuCad design. Next followed the first electric trolley in stainless steel

retaining the original JuCad design by keeping the electric motors invisible. The small battery system was also kept invisible by stowing

it in the golf bag thus ensuring the long service life of this high tech component. JuCad continued to pioneer the way in 2003 with the

use of lithium-ion battery technology for electric golf trolleys – now much of the world market has followed.

The clip-on wheels run-ning on quadruple ball bearings ensure highest ease of use. The JuCad Carbon is easily assembled or quickly taken apart for stowage in even the smallest car boots.
