Taitaja story Taitaja ambitions have been set. Since its founding, it has been far more than just competition. In this context, a number of target groups have been organized for the purpose of improving the quality and attractiveness of vocational education. The success of the folders is also reflected in the increase in the number of competitors. In the first Taitajassa, Hämeenlinna in 1988 competed in two fields. In 2001 Taitaja was put together under one roof for the first time, and there were already 28 species. This year, in Helsinki, there are 55 species. Taitaja are a good tool for developing vocational training. It is growing and changing together with the change in education and its goals. The chill-out area activities are coordinated by a guidance counsellor who is responsible for the neighbourhood’s Do Well assignments with a teacher and students.

At the chill-out area, visitors are invited to take a seat for a few minutes and to learn more about the activities in the neighbourhood.
