1Field GuideMy inspiration for my field guide page came from my reading of a recent article from the latest edition of National Geographic. I gathered a couple of on-line pictures from the National Geographic web-site in order to get a couple of different perspectives and used them to draw the turtle in pencil. I thought it was a fair effort.

Cover Art AssignmentI did similar research for the cover art assignment. My story from literature class is represented by the cover art was a tale of fishing with my dad and older brother in Canada a long time ago. I am going to attempt to read the story and record it with this power point. I used multiple colored pencil to get the texturing affect.

Clay ElephantOOPS!!My clay elephant was broken by my 5 year old nephew before I could photograph him. I found a really good instructional website for the future. If you have 5 minute look it over. It could easily be used in the classroom. Sculpey Clay ElephantI thought my elephant was better than this example.
