Adobe Presenter Plug-in

• Adobe Presenter Plug-in: – Install file available for PC Only– Requires PowerPoint 2000, XP (2002), 2003, or

2007 – Menu to PowerPoint– All of the functionality you will need is available

from the tab menu.• Users need flash player to view content

Installing Presenter Plug-in

• Download the serial number (in a pdf file) and the installer (“presenter.msi”) from https://www.itap.purdue.edu/training/materials/list.cfm?TopicID=211

• You can download the presenter installer only from https://gomeet.itap.purdue.edu– Log in with your Purdue career account– Under the Resources tab– Click on the Open link in Getting Started – You need the author access first:

Record/Edit/Synchronize Audio

1. Choose Record Audio from the Adobe Presenter menu.2. Set your microphone recording level.3. Begin recording audio. Clicking Next >> advances the

presentation to the next slide. Clicking Next Animation allows you to time PowerPoint animations to your narration. If there are no animations on the slide, click Stop Recording, then Next>> to start narrating the next slide.

Capturing Video (see the manual for detail instruction)

1. Choose Capture Video from the Adobe Presenter menu.2. Select Attach to slide <Slide #> as <Slide video> or <Sidebar

video>3. Capture the video using Start Recording and Stop

Creating Quizzes

1. Choose Quiz Manager from the Adobe Presenter menu.2. Click Add New Question to add a question or Import Quizzes from your

existing presentations created in Adobe Presenter 3. Choose the type of question you would like to create and fill in question

properties.4. Continue until you have created all questions and click OK in the Quiz

Manager.5. New slides are added to the presentation for each question you created.6. Edit Quizzes for advanced options like pooling, shuffling and branching

Publish Your Presentation:Presentation Only to Blackboard

1. Choose Publish from the Adobe Presenter menu2. In My Computer, browse the location that you will save the

presentation file (Desktop would be easily located)3. Check “Zip package” and click “Publish”4. Log on to Blackboard and enter your class

Publish Your Presentation:Presentation Only to Blackboard

In Blackboard1. Under the Build tab, click on the File Manager 2. Click the Get Files button, Browse to navigate/select the .zip

file created by Adobe Presenter, and then click Open3. Extract the zip file (the Extract menu available in the

actionlinks located adjacent to the file). It will be unzipped in the new folder (the folder name is the same as the zip file

4. Locate the space you want to display the presentation 5. Click on “Add File” > “Browse for Files”6. In Class Files, click on the folder unzipped, check the

“index.htm” file, and then click OK.7. You can add this presentation page in the Learning Modules as

well.
