Section I. INTRODUCTION
1. SCOPE. This publication provides an overprinted DA Form 2062 (Hand Receipt), which lists the contents ofComponents of End Item (COEI), Basic Issue Items (Bll), and Additional Authorization List (AAL) items relatedto the Carrier, Ammunition, Tracked, M992A1.
2. GENERAL
a. Section II is the overprinted DA Form 2062, which lists the contents of COEI, Bll, and AAL extracted fromTM 9-2350-287-10. The listings contain the same items and are in the same sequence as those listings in TM9-2350-287-10.
b. The overprinted DA Form 2062 eliminates manual preparation of the form and will assist organizations ininventorying and accounting for property as required by DA Pam 710-2-1.
c. Local reproduction of the overprinted DA Form 2062 is authorized. However, organizations shall complywith local policies when reproducing DA Form 2062 by office copying equipment, field printing plant, orduplicating plant facilities.

3. EXPLANATION OF BLOCKS AND COLUMNS ON DA FORM 2062
a. FROM. Enter the organization for which the property book is maintained.
b. TO. Enter the Unit Identifier Code (UIC) and the hand receipt file number of the unit/personnel receivingthe property.
c. HAND RECEIPT NO. Enter a locally designated number. Use it to post the location of the property in theproperty book.
d . END ITEM STOCK NUMBER. Contains the national stock number (NSN) of the end item covered by thehand receipt.
e. END ITEM DESCRIPTION. Contains the end item short title.
f. PUBLICATION NUMBER. Contains the technical manual (TM) number of the TM containing the operator/crew instructions for the equipment.
g. PUBLICATION DATE. Date of the operator/crew TM.
h. QUANTITY. Quantity of the end item covered by this hand receipt.

i. STOCK NUMBER (Column a). National stock number (NSN) of the item described. Items withoutNSNs should be requisitioned by Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGEC) and part number, withthe exception of data in accordance with AR 710-2.
j. ITEM DESCRIPTION (Column b). Identifies the item contained in the COEI, Bll, and AAL. It will alsocontain nomenclature and serial/USA number (if applicable) that will be useful in identifying and controllingthe item. Serial number is to be inserted and initiated on all copies by hand receipt holder. In addition, itwill contain the five-digit CAGEC, part number, and “usable on” code, if applicable.
k. Column c. The Accounting Requirements Code (ARC) is inserted here.
NOTE
The ARC refers to property accountability, not disposal authority. Dispositionaction and authority for an unserviceable item is governed by the recoverabilitycode (fifth position of the source, maintenance, and recoverability code) assignedto the item in the Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL).
One of the following will apply:
N Nonexpendable Item not consumed in use, retaining its identity during use, and requiringthat accountability be maintained throughout the life of the item.
D Durable Nonconsumable components of sets, kits, outfits, and assemblies; alltools in federal supply codes 5110, 5120, 5130, 5133, 5140, 5180,5210, 5220, and 5280; and any other nonconsumable with a price inexcess of $50.00 not already “N.”
X Expendable Items that are consumed in use, regardless of type classification orprice. Includes all class 9 repair parts. Items not consumed in use,costing $50.00 or less, and not already “N” or “D.”
I. SEC (Column d). The Physical Security/Pilferage code is entered here. This is a one-position codethat indicates the security classification or pilferage control for storage or transportation of assets. Order ofprecedence for assignment of codes is “classified,” “sensitive,” " pilferable, ” and “unclassified,” as applicable.

Ammunition and Explosives.
Drug or other substance determined by the Director, Drug Enforcement Administration(DEA), Department of Justice, to be designated schedule symbol III, IV, or V, as definedin the Controlled Substance Act of 1970, and other items requiring secure storage.
Alcohol, alcoholic beverage, precious metal, drug, or other substance determined by theDirector, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Department of Justice, to be designatedschedule symbol II, as defined in the Controlled Substance Act of 1970, and other itemsrequiring vault storage.
Prior to disposal, sensitive information-all nameplates, label plates, tags, stickers,documents, or markings-that relate items to weapons system end item application andmust be removed and destroyed.
Ammunition and Explosives Security Risk Code
HIGHEST SENSITIVITY (CATEGORY I): Nonnuclear missiles and rockets in a “ready tofire” configuration (e.g., Hamlet, Redeye, Stinger, Dragons, LAW, VIPER) and explosiverounds for nonnuclear missiles and rockets. This category also applies in situationswhere the launcher (tube) and explosive rounds, though not in a ready-to-fire configuration,are jointly stored or transported.
HIGH SENSITIVITY (CATEGORY II): Arms, ammunition, and explosives.
MODERATE SENSITIVITY (CATEGORY III): Arms, ammunition, and explosives.
LOW SENSITIVITY (CATEGORY IV): Arms, ammunition, and explosives.
HIGHEST SENSITIVITY (CATEGORY I): Arms, ammunition, and explosives with aphysical security classification of SECRET.*
HIGHEST SENSITIVITY (CATEGORY I): Arms, ammunition, and explosives with aphysical security classification of CONFIDENTIAL.*
HIGHEST SENSITIVITY (CATEGORY II): Arms, ammunition, and explosives with aphysical security classification of CONFIDENTIAL.*
*Items coded 5,6, or 8 will be stored and transported in accordance with the provisions of DOD 5100.76-M or DOD5200. 1-R, whichever is more stringent.

Pilferage item that, due to its size, shape, and utility, does not fall under one of thepreceding categories. Pilferage controls may be designated by the coding activity toitems coded U (unclassified) by recoding the items to J.
m. UI (Column e). Unit of Issue. Refer to AR 708-1 and/or CDA Pam 18-1 (Catalog Data Activity) for anexplanation of abbreviations used in this column.
n. QTY AUTH (Column f). The quantity authorized to be on hand, or part of the end item.
o. QUANTITY (Column g). Actual quantity on hand. Subcolumns A through F are to be filled in by thereceiving unit/personnel in accordance with DA Pam 710-2-1, Chapter 6.
p. PAGE__ of__PAGES. Contains the page number and total number of pages for the COEI, BII, andAAL portions of the hand receipt. The hand receipt holder will initial each page number (only when two ormore forms are involved). When the hand receipt holder changes, the old initials will be lined out and thenew hand receipt holder will initial each page.
4. SPECIAL INFORMATION. Not applicable.
5. AUTHORIZATION DOCUMENTS
a. COEI are authorized by the applicable RPSTL.
b. Bll are authorized by the applicable operator’s manual.
c. AAL items are authorized by the appropriate modification table of organization and equipment, table ofdistribution and allowances, common table of allowances, or joint table of allowances authorization documents.
